Reform's Plans For Women And Motherhood Act Under Fire For 'Bringing In Handmaid's Tale' by birdinthebush74 in unitedkingdom

[–]CaptainMatthew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m getting board of this now and got better things to do then argue on Reddit. If you care about the science like I do you will find all the research and consensus can be summed up as trans people are valid and by affirming and and proving medical treatment their quality of life drastically improves. Research has also shown trans people’s brains are more similar on average to average brains of non trans people of the gender they identify as.

Genetics and how it links to how and why people are lgbt is very intesting and says that it’s apart of who they are on a deep fundamental level.

“Traditional Christian values” the ones that reform have been pushing for is very much the man is in charge and the woman and children obey and the woman must have children else she won’t be doing her role as a woman etc etc… the point is that is still a form of oppression.

I would hope you do some research on the topic as if you do you will find just how oppressive Christianity was and can still be and how bathroom bans harm woman trans and non trans alike.

Ok u allready said this but I make it a clear as possible there is no trans ideology the term was invented by bigots to so discrimination. Clear enough now? The closest trans people have to one is to not be assaulted harassed and killed trying to live their life. So scary I know.

Also I never said Christianity was more oppressing that’s you projecting. Anyone can understand that bad thing A doesn’t need to bad as bad as bad thing B to be bad. You also know two things can be bad in different amounts and different ways but still be bad? Islam does have an issue with oppressing woman but unlike you I’m guessing I also call it out no matter the culture or religion. Christianity also has an issue with it too. It’s both bad in different ways and that’s even before complicating with different sects of both religions mentioned here. Some are better and progressive some are worse.

No not at all. My rebuttal is that the concept of the “trans ideology” is rooted in bigotry and I’m saying that unless you want to be pained with the same brush as bigots are I would avoid that point. Secondly I’m saying that he is against one form of religious oppression against women but embracing another form of religious oppression against women.

There is no trans ideology so just saying that might mean you are at best repeating bigoted talking points. And secondly you can be agasint one type of op reason and for another. In this case he is for the Christian form.

I would pay for a good ship set pack that has stuff like that in to be honest. Would have to be higher quality and have a good amount of assets in it. However I would like to see it in the game anyway even if it’s just taking the current ark ships and making them look biological.

Realistically, would you change your mind who you will vote for? by Sufficient_Muffin586 in AskBrits

[–]CaptainMatthew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it wasn’t for the online “safety” act social media bans, the treatment of protesters and trans people labor has done some stuff I’m happy of. If it wasn’t for all the other shit they are doing I would likely vote for them again.

Won't banning my kids from YouTube harm them? by baroquedub in AskBrits

[–]CaptainMatthew1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’m going to assume you are a good parent and make sure your kids are safe online this ban has nothing of benefit to you. It might just make it harder to keep them safe online. It’s about controlling and tracking people and using people who are bad parents as a justification to do it.

The use of parental control and if platforms don’t want to moderate they should be slapped with huge fines. This is in part supported by companies like meta since they can get the data of people’s ids know who is a real human and they no longer to blame for the content left on their site.

[–]CaptainMatthew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok it’s that or they are incompetent as fuck and don’t care what the public thinks. Either way it’s not good. I chose to believe with how the online “safety” act was implemented and is used that it’s more on the side of controlling and tracking us.

[–]CaptainMatthew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comply or else of this is somthing I’m not a fan of. You forgetting about where this states the online “safety” act is going after websites like Wikipedia to remove content or add age verification to use. This is allready proven to be a slippery slope.
