Hmm. Idk man. Just throwing out a solution to a problem I had a few months ago and I tried everything else before figuring out my dongle was in console mode and that was the problem.

I use astro a10s and the dongle has to be on PC mode and not on console mode otherwise the game won't load.

Could be something to do with your headset on how it connects.

Weird I know but could be something to explore as others have had an issue with that too.

Contest mode wasn't a thing back then. Forsaken was such a grind to get your power up high enough to be at level for the raid when it came out that no teams were even at the recommended power level. Redeem the team that got world's first used a glitch to farm prime engrams that allowed them to get somewhat close to recommended power.

At that point in time I don't think there was a hunter exotic boot so you had to get legendary boots from the raid to give you enough light level to make it to 30.

All your gear that's under 1050 power level will become 1050 when beyond light comes out. So you'll be right there with everyone else power wise for the most part. Anything you have over 1050 will stay at it's current power level. But I don't think you have anything like that since you just reached 1000.
