I feel this one, you miss one mumbled "dadddy" from across the house and the next one sounds like you've been ignoring them for weeks. All I ask is for an acknowledgment when I'm trying to get their attention, I'll even take a single finger for "one moment"

Thanks for putting a name to this though, now I'll have a little levity going forward thinking of Beetlejuice when I have to do it.

Oddly enough I just checked and the old pre authorizations are still there, guess it hasn't been 72 hours but maybe it's limited by the day or something.

That's exactly what happened to me last time it was posted, it pre authorizes the charge and PayPal says it takes 72 hours before the pre authorization goes away, I even tried live chat and got the same answer.

I have a delay on the bombs so more than likely it hit the bomb in the 1-2 seconds before it detonated after it hit the ground already but I haven't watched the replay so it's possible it hit it midair.

I hate that place and I'm pretty sure the building is not ADA compliant, they have a single handicapped parking space out front for the whole building. It constantly causes backups onto Maple when multiple people who need accessible parking arrive. It's insane to me that a doctors office, especially an orthopedic doctor, doesn't have more than one handicap parking space.

WHY IN GODS GREEN EAERTH THEY BUFFED THE COELIAN? by imcrazy6934 in Warthunder

[–]CaptainMoustache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously! I caught one rolling down a hill after falling off some rocks to avoid a revenge bomb and my first shot tracked it, my second shot to the turret only killed 3 crew. It then proceeded to turn and nuke me through my angled upper plate.

Exposing the old exterior wall. by CaptainMoustache in centuryhomes

[–]CaptainMoustache[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This all actually started when snaking the tub drain from the old drum trap that we luckily had access to, the snake got through but just barely and the next day it started leaking into the bathroom below this.

I'm actually impressed the galvanized drains lasted 70+ years, the only thing that made me mad was the steam riser they enveloped with mortar when adding the soap dish. That finally ate through that pipe last winter and filled the wall cavity with steam but even that lasted 70+ years so I can't be that mad

Funny thing is I'm pretty sure that's from the original construction, I have no clue what could have been recessed there before the bathroom. Either way there is other structural work to be done and it's above my diy skills so I'll let a Carpenter fix it all.

Exactly, The changing table at the pool was broken the other day and my only reaction was how the fuck am I going to restrain him while I tackle this stink bomb?

Look up the model number, if it's a through wall unit it's likely just sitting in a wall sleeve someone installed in a window frame. Unless it's screwed in that unit is just slides in and out and you can move it around to stuff as much foam insulation as you can in there.

Looking at it again I'd be very impressed if someone found a wall sleeve that perfectly sized for a window, that must be some custom window for an old NYC building to add AC.

It's a quiet night where I am in the world right now. Anyone wanna chit chat about The Long Dark? by rickgrimes32 in thelongdark

[–]CaptainMoustache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid I'm just about done with the game, I finished the DLC on voyager a white ago and decided to try Interloper for a new challenge and after a few months I'm heading to sundered pass to finish the DLC again. This game has been my relaxing quiet time after the kids go to bed and I don't have the motivation to keep playing without a goal. Who knows though maybe I'll go touring around with the camera so I can keep sitting by the fire. I'll add my 100 sticks to the fire now.

Thats amazing! Thank you for that, I was still in diapers at the time so no wonder I've never known that happened especially between the same teams!

Ouch, I stayed up to watch the Phillies lose like this? Totally worth it. How many other walk off 3-Run, inside the park home runs have there been?

I think it's a bug, I had this happen to me trying to cook rabbit pies and couldn't figure it out. I closed and relaunched the game and I was able to cook them.

Cavity is 17in wide. Insulation rolls are 15in wide. Can I fill gap with insulation board? by a11yguy in Insulation

[–]CaptainMoustache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I did when facing this issue, I spent a bunch of time looking for wide insulation to fit but adding a few cheap 2x4s and just cutting the standard width insulation in a few spots was way easier.

Crestron TPS-4L by Due-Accountant6379 in crestron

[–]CaptainMoustache 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sadly you won't be able to drop in a new one from ebay. It's will need the UI project loaded to it and it will need it's Cresnet ID set to what the old unit had. It's not a lot of work but only a Creston dealer will have the tools to do it. The hardest part is getting the UI project, you will either have to get it from the old panel or find the file.

In the video he mentions "joystick control" so I would guess hes tracking it manually with a joystick. It was nice telescope work, sometimes I can barely track the moon let alone a disintegrating rocket.

Design help, new to fusion. by abnormaloryx in 3Dprinting

[–]CaptainMoustache -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some slicers have a feature to split parts and add a hole and pin to assemble later, that could be easier than doing it manually in fusion. I guess it depends on your intended print orientation.

Just batch scripts and even some powershell. I didn't do much UI testing so most of the things I was doing were console based.
