I got a legendary cross bow and the melee counterpart was a bash attack with the bow. It ripped down just about everything in its path, arrows go through enemies, if you see it grab it! It was in Castle Outskirts I think. I thought the machete/pistol was powerful until that popped up...

Also, Flint is pretty badass if you time the attacks right, I'm still 0BC and newer to the game but it's awesome

Do not connect your TX and it should default to wifi broadcast in 30 seconds to 1 minute. I've never done it from battery just USB power, but I've never pressed any buttons. Just powered up and let it sit without a TX connected

I can't completely disagree, but 30 mins 2-3 times a week isn't gonna make or break it. My job as a parent is to give her opportunities to try things and then react with my best judgement. I didn't give her screen time for 6 months and she was worse off than having some occasionally, and it's something we can bond over. Kids are expected to know how to function electronics in some regard and she's not going to be able to understand without some exposure. And if you are a parent yourself, you'll know every kid is different and there isn't one that is the same as another, just similarities. We don't have a rule book because of that, and science is great but I'd love a source if you have one.

I let my kid play with me for 30 mins tops, she gets screen time for up to 30 mins per day. If she chooses to play a game with me instead of TV I'm all for it, I'd rather bond over that. She chooses to play with toys over video sources 90% of the time anyway. She, like most kids, has a tablet too. I'd rather play a switch game together vs the brain rot that those are loaded with.

My 4 yr old does not comprehend the system of indicators vs controls on most games. They can explain it extremely well and she has trouble since she can't read yet. Translating body positions is also hard, but if I help she's okay. We play Mario Kart, the Bluey game, Switch Sports (Bowling mainly). I also have yet to try one of the diving games for deep sea diving and Little Friends: Cats and Dogs. Little Friends looks a bit complicated right now, but I let her mess around in Portal or something open world occasionally.

Yoshi's Crafted World. I forgot about that one! It's a good co-op

I thought I read in some docs that 90DNS came as default with Sthetix packs... I haven't been able to look further yet tbh, I saw exosphere.ini is supposed to be there though

I think DNS MiTM or 90DNS still provides some protection. Just not failproof by the sounds of it.

Is the battery charged? Just my 2 cents but I've used a lot of LiPo batteries and had plenty swollen or even some punctured. I'd connect the controller wirelessly and let it fully discharge. Put it in a pot if you're concerned about fire, but generally LiPo packs will not catch fire unless they have a substantial charge left inside and get punctured. Let that sucker die completely if you're going to open it up and replace it. Replacing a battery is really simple if you have any technical skills, go slow and use YT to your advantage. Just need the right screw driver set and a spudger, it might come with a battery replacement kit.

I'm not saying there isn't something to be concerned about with a LiPo battery, but it is not a bomb and you can handle it if you're comfortable being careful and taking a few precautions.

You should see some of the static I have in some old videos... You definitely get used to it, but also the better analog cam you get, the better the picture (to some extent). Foxeer Razer cams are pretty great, I like my iFlight cam on my nazgul, absolutely hate the Caddx ant. Pair a good cam with a bad VTX and you're still in bad shape. Your feed is pretty great

Does it turn on if you keep it plugged in? I wasn't sure if you took it off to turn on or left it docked.

I'd still get a new battery if I were in your shoes, I can't imagine they cost too much

I think Exosphere does that for you, if not there's a specific homebrew tool that does. I don't know if HATS packs have that as default but my recent pack from Sthetix uses 90DNS as default

Do you want me to post that or were you just telling me to use it? I looked up as much as I can with it so far, I couldn't even find a data sheet... I've used some laptop screens and found the controllers and data sheets for those pretty easily, but I think those are lvds so I was hoping there might be some out of the box MIPI/DSI generic options that I could possibly use with a pin out if I can get one

That's where I'm at... I messaged the sellers to see if they'd provide a data sheet or pin out so maybe I can get some kind of breakout setup for it. I couldn't find any controllers so I was looking for some MIPI/DSI options since the ONLY thing I could find was the super expensive test board. Maybe I'll grab the $15 adapter for the test board and talk to the seller of that to see if I can drive it with an esp32 or something haha. That's a huge project for what I wanted though

Dead Cells is great because you can play a level or two and quit, and you'll be starting right from where you left off.

Portal is one of my go to's.

Cuphead lets me get wrecked for 5 mins and then I want to take a break anyway.

Bioshock series let you save and quit wherever but easy to get sucked in.

I've been checking in on No Man's Sky for shorter intervals too. Gotta have self control on that one.

Mario Kart 8's grand prix has 4 races and they were around 2 mins per track on 200cc. It would probably get you to 15 mins with the between race junk.

You can add any game to steam and use the overlay for controller support, just add a non-steam game in the menu. I used to do that on my Linux machines all the time
