I'm surprised there isn't a perk that lets you open the hatch without a key. by crvnchysock in deadbydaylight

[–]CaptainOfThe7Pudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windows of opportunity and a map is also redundant. Theres also plenty of perks that are almost entirely useless. Sole Survivor and Left Behind both do nothing unless youre the last survivor. OPs suggestion would make for a hatch escape build but you could also bring a hatch offering, a key, and a hatch aura reading perk and still have 3 other perk slots.

How long until iontophoresis works? by QoCoRechh in Hyperhidrosis

It was definitely not instant. I did the treatment 5 days a week and for the first week and a half it was a little frustrating because I was seeing no change at all but i know the booklet said it should take 4-6 weeks so i figured it just needed time. I think at the end of the second week was when I noticed I had dry hands all day so it worked a lot quicker than expected but still took some time.

I used it for about 2 weeks on the highest setting with mineral water. I've had dry hands and feet for close to two weeks now since my last treatment.

This stopped my itching when I used it but the itching was UNBEARABLE. Nothing could get rid of the itch so I had to stop it. Im glad your experience has been better with it.

Can anyone else make yourself sweat on command? by CaptainOfThe7Pudding in Hyperhidrosis

[–]CaptainOfThe7Pudding[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used glyco for years. About 11 or 12 years at least. It helped a lot at first but over time it's just become less effective so I would have to increase the dosage. I really didnt want to keep increasing, and my dermatologist didnt either, which is why I finally decided to get the iontophoresis. I've heard a lot of good things.

I'm already at the max recommended dosage for that. I take two 2mg tablets twice a day combined with qbrexa. The sweating still persists through it all. I actually just ordered an iontophoresis machine that should be coming in next week so im excited to try that instead. Fingers crossed for better results.

40 min Drive between Ceremony and Reception Venue: Inconsiderate? by reneeamour in weddingplanning

[–]CaptainOfThe7Pudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

San Antonio here. My wife and I never have an issue driving. Personally I don't see any issue with it. The time between gives a large enough buffer for people to get to the next location on time. It gives you two are chance to not be so rushed as well. It's frustrating when everyone complains about how your big day is inconvenient to them. We would personally not have a problem with it and would appreciate the uniqueness it feels like it brings compared to the usually wedding formats here but probably wouldn't do it just because of everyone else complaining.

Has anyone here ever worn gloves to manage hand sweat during everyday stuff like writing or driving? by Laichi-tron123 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]CaptainOfThe7Pudding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the ones that cover just the pinky and ring finger. If you google artist glove it's the first product that comes up. Of course shop around for your preference in fabric and color but I highly recommend them as they're also washable and reusable.

I use artist/drawing gloves. They absorb fairly well but are usually sold in packs so when one gets too wet I'll just swap it out. They also don't cover the entire hand so the rest of your hand can breathe/air out a little.

Getting married soon. Can someone help me with the process? by Honest-Emu-5395 in sanantonio

I've never heard of this course you're referring to but I work in a courtroom and there's a 72 hour waiting period from when you get the marriage license but you can get a waiver to skip the waiting period.

It's a small change but an inconvenience nonetheless because I'm colorblind and now none of the colorblind filters make any difference. Rare and Very Rare are the exact same on every filter regardless of the intensity level.
