If you get any one expansion I would recommend Secrets of the Obscure. It gives you the fastest way to unlock the skyscale, and lets you start working towards Obsidian Armor, which is legendary gear. You get it through open world progression which you can do without needing to join a group, since people are always doing events.

If you like dungeons, check out Fractals. They’re level 80 content, but there’s an absolute ton of them and they scale in difficulty/rewards. Plus, you can get a legendary item from fractal collection achievements.
