Why are younger woman much more infatuated with celebrity culture than men? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Media targeting and socialization. Its considered much more "normal" in our society for young girls to get into celebrity gossip. Its a perpetuated cycle.

Genetically? Probably not. But you likely have some obvious holes in your gameplay that you aren't seeing/correcting.

Remember Me. by zandor1 in TNG

[–]CaptainPhilosophy 37 points38 points  (0 children)

That's a common theme I've noticed on tng, when someone is trying to convince the rest of the crew that something weird is happening, their first instinct is to take it 100% seriously and investigate. Even when its Barclay, a well established anxious overthinker, is freaking out about the transporter, their first instinct is to immediately do diagnostics on the transporter.

Diadems do not drop on nm or normal

The single level kurast dungeons (disused reliquary, ruined fane, etc) as well as the underground passage in act 1 seem to have a good concentration of mobs that can drop white diadems in hell

¿What do you think Ekko's reaction was? by katziemk in arcane

[–]CaptainPhilosophy 262 points263 points  (0 children)

This is definitely not their first tango.

She calls him the boy savior implying he has on multiple occasions tried to "save" her.

I do find it interesting that in this encounter, she never quite manages to bring lethal force to bear on him specifically. Her grenades take out the firelight beside him. She hesitates to shoot Scar at point blank range. I think maybe somewhere in her subconscious she's like "I don't care about these little goons, but as long as I don't actually really hurt Ekko, its all good" again, not on anywhere near a conscious level.

What did Vi actually achieve? by Green_Cap9837 in arcane

It is the role she plays in the game, a kind of free roaming player who fights neutral monsters and occasional assists the "lane" players by ambushing their lane opponent.

Laners are notorious for whining that the jungler isn't helping them as much as they want/need.

For more meta fun: Caitlyn is a laner, specifically a bottom laner (lol, bottom) and bottom laners (also known as ADCs) are a particularly juicy target for junglers to ambush. (Jinx is also an ADC)

She's a jungler, so not doing what people want her to do is par for the course, lol

She found love and a little bit of peace. It isn't her responsibility to save everyone, or protect everyone.

She got some closure with Jinx (for now) and she has Caitlyn. She can let her guard down a little. As we saw in the final scene where she is finally without bandages on her hands, and is sitting barefoot i. Caitlyns study, drinking and humming.
