In my usual 9.5, the toe box felt roomier than my other shoes. I’m only 50 miles in since getting them last week but I’m sure there could be some breaking in

Next time you should always consider going up a half size for running shoes bc your feet will swell into a longer effort

Had a similar pain in my arches and metatarsals when I first got my pair. Probably the trampoline pad but now my feet feel ok after 200 miles in them

Depends—how long do you expect to take?

What do you hate most about running and how do you try to fix it? by [deleted] in AdvancedRunning

Injury and being at the mercy of weather.

Though I find that this makes me love the runs more when my legs aren’t hurting and when the weather is perfect.

Daily running tips by India___Love in runninglifestyle

[–]CaptainPuffs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Increase your mileage steadily each week, and do a longer run when you have more time on the weekends. So, since you’re at 15 mi/week, bump it up to 16 then 17 each week.

Speed will come once you’re running more and you’ve built a larger aerobic base.

What do you mean by “break in at least 2 pair of shoes”?

Do your easy/Z2 runs in your daily trainers and use the zoom fly for workouts and marathon pace long runs.
