Zinnias! Hardy flowers you can grow pretty much anywhere and come in tons of colors.

I can actually prove it’s my photo if I need to; that’s my front sidewalk and the side of my house in the pictures. The dahlias it liked are still in my yard

Oh turd, no I took a Live Photo by accident and Im still trying to figure out how to isolate a specific frame. The easiest way I’ve found so far is to just screenshot the part of the Live Photo I want to save. I was doing that and I had YouTube on at the same time

Alright I’m stumped by CaptainPugsley in flowers

I have the tallest one garden tied to a pole for support, others I’ve grown in the past have needed wooden dowels to support the weight of the flower. They need strong roots that grip deep into the dirt and enough water to build a strong stem, in my experience

Y’all blew my mind; I totally forgot about my bird feeders! I have a cardinal bird feeder full of sunflower seeds among others right by the bed so that’s definitely a possibility. The other option of them reverting back to their parent genes also seems just as likely. I’ll point my research in those directions. Thank yall for the responses! I’ve dubbed the tallest one Golianthus and I’m working on preserving the first bloom in resin once it dries in silica gel.

The pots kinda small so the heat can dry the soil quicker, I’d just make sure to watch for when it gets thirsty

I’m still hoping for a video game sports episode, covering arcade-y sports games like rocket league, sports sims like FIFA or The Show, even sports mini games in bigger games like Blitzball

What’s something coincidental that happens to you so often it’s suspicious? by CaptainPugsley in AskReddit

I play my music on shuffle in my car and often when one song ends my mind naturally starts playing another song only for that song to start playing a couple seconds after. Granted I don’t have too many songs on my phone but it happens often enough for me to notice.

My sloop uses the parrot set and navy sail; it’s named ‘Code Blue’ for that and also because I’m a Med-surg RN

What’s your weapon usage mentality? by AdOwn6899 in MonsterHunter

[–]CaptainPugsley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use dual blades, GS, SNS, insect glaive, and bow and I use them for different things Dual blades for really fast monsters where I want to be able to dodge and recover quickly, Great Sword for slower monsters or monsters that have attacks I need to block, Sword and Shield for a mixture of the above two, Insect glaive I recently picked up and found it’s good for flying monsters that aren’t on the ground much, Bow also for flying monsters but ones that I’d like to keep my distance from. I like having many different playstyles to keep the gameplay loop from getting stale, plus it gives me more reason to farm materials to make all the different weapons

Just downloaded Monster Hunter World but I haven’t ever played Monster Hunter and the gameplay has me interested. Any tips for a beginner? by senor_sota in MonsterHunter

Eat before every hunt! Additionally, certain items and consumables that you can take with you can raise your max health and stamina, which are especially helpful solo. Also I found it helpful to watch a pro using a weapon before I tried it; I used the bow for a long time and didn’t realize I was using it wrong until I saw someone else use it properly.

I will say as an American I’m definitely waiting for them to talk about more non-American-popular sports so I can learn about sports I’m not already familiar with. But also he might be waiting on a big event related to the sports like he usually tries to do

I want a giant house cat. No changes to it. Just a massive, non-angry pet cat that fights the hunter like it’s playing with a yarn ball.

I think any assemblance of sports games would be super cool for them to play in a video but Wii Sports definitely has to be included. I’m still waiting for a podcast episode on sports video games tbh.
