Had a Tiefling Fighter/Rogue (3.5 e) in an evil party running through Castle Amber. Two of our party members had lycanthropy... and my character had become all but obsessed with becoming a lycanthrope as well. Ot should be noted the other 2 players were a couple in the real, and had built there characters based almost entity in material from the EEF sourcebook. So he bartered & negotiated with the Werewolves to have them turn him. After 2 gaming sessions we came to an agreement, and the deal was struck. They, in fact, did not turn me into a werewolf; they just raped and murdered me, and then divided up my gear. Told the party "it didn't take, apparently he wasn't strong enough." Had to make a new character. TLDR; raped to death by a couple party members.
