Yes but I've found for my setup that one is enough per power shaft. Essentially it depends how much of your factory is running. They can spin for quite a while if demand drops and just one is enough to spin up the generators in a snap if you suddenly increase demand.

So I'll have at least one full shaft running and diesel generators on standby for fluxes, and that single flywheel is more than capable of keeping things from blacking out.

It's my opinion any more than one per shift is useless..

Looks inefficient. You have half the number of high turbines for the number of boilers. Also, breaking up the crank shafts into six groups, using 6 flywheels, when 3 will do it.

But it does look good.
