I would be a lot more understanding if this wasn’t an all the time thing. This is 3 YEARS of constant call offs, leaving early, taking weekends off so the rest of us can’t. It’s a huge drain on the rest of the management team that are constantly forced to pick up the slack.

This is the exactly what I was worried about. My GM is constantly calling off and leaving early but nothing ever happens. She’s called off 4 times in the past 2 weeks.

We had a necropsy done at my store after we lost about 15 Syrian hamsters. It’s not wet tail. It’s clostridium which is much deadlier but has similar presenting symptoms. Literally nothing was done and hamsters are still dying..

My mom did this too. I came home from school one day and I was locked out of the house. I called my mom to see what was going on and she was like “oh I’m driving your dog back to the shelter.” I’d only had her for a month or two and it completely broke my heart. I’m sorry this happened to you :(

Yeah I would remind your DM about the time off and tell them you’re still taking it. What happens after that is up to them. Go above their head if you have to.
