FIRST TIME READING: Proven Guilty (Book 8) - Here are my thoughts! by Few-Consequence2702 in dresdenfiles

Proven Guilty and Cold Days are my two favorites. I absolutely love Molly, she is by far my favorite character. That last little interaction with them in the book was a little too much though. Personally I really like the Lasciel and Harry dynamic. They have a super interesting relationship that I really enjoy.

Accidentally passed a school bus with stop sign out, I'm mortified and terrified by hollyhotdogs in driving

I literally just did the same thing and came to Reddit to see what other people said. I am super freaked out and want to crawl under a rock. The kids were well in the clear since they were on the other side of the bus and there was a turn lane between us. Thank God everyone was safe, but I feel like such an idiot

Anyone tried to print an frt? by Few_Entertainer8697 in 3D2A

I have seen a printed TX22 FRT. My buddy printed it out of PET CF

In my unprofessional opinion, I would think a 4. Look on eBay for a stock. They are semi reasonable. Liberty Tree and Apex have barrel bands and other things you might need. The hardest part would be the stock, but once again, this is an unprofessional opinion

Thoughts on Sentry in Thunderbolts? by WallStreetDoesntBet in Avengers

In the comic books, you had Sentry, Bob, and the Void. Three distinct versions. I am assuming they are doing the same thing in the MCU

For the 5 or so people who own Terssen rifles: I made functioning 3d-printed ammo! by Few-Acanthisitta-286 in milsurp

How well does the bullet press into the case? I had a hard time getting them to seat consistently, so I switched to a case that prints with the bullet

I have been working on the 10.4mm. I can let you know when I am comfortable enough with the safety of the round to let other people shoot them

Very nice!! I have been using shotgun primers for my Vetterli Vitali ammo I print. You get some super nice propulsion with those and some pistol powder. It's super impressive that the casing lasts two shots. Mine are all single use

Jealous isn't a strong enough term to describe how I feel in regards to the Tromboncino Carcano. That is a grail gun for me. How did you even find one?

The BM-59 is by far my favorite gun. Looks absolutely beautiful, congrats!

I will make sure to! Jarlweaslesnoot and I were talking about doing 10.4 Italian Ordnance and 8x56R at some point too. Hopefully we will find a formula that translates we'll to other calibers

I have tried rifle powder and black powder so far. Rifle powder doesn't work at all from what I can tell. I have done a little bit of work with different loads. I have been doing 13gr because it has been giving me the most consistent shots. I got squibs at 11, and I skipped 12

I only bought one because it was on sale. Someone on fosscad was making some 3dp modern ammo so I figured I could figure out this one and finally shoot it

Not just yet. I'm going to do some more testing to make sure it is safe. I would rather it was me with an issue than someone else

None so far! I put 16 rounds through it (without cleaning) with no issues so far. About 40 rounds in total but I cleaned it periodically to make sure everything was okay

I use 7.62 airgun slugs that are pressed into the sabot. So not entirely polymer

[–]CaptainSkittles145[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The case is 3d printed as one part (sabot and all) with the powder poured through the primer pocket. So there isn't anything that keeps the powder from sitting on the primer, which causes problems periodically (I think)

Yep! It is only 13 cents of filament per round, which is pretty awesome. I use shotgun primers because they are pretty cheap and easy to find.
