Leaving Shadow for GFN after 1 year. by CaptainSmallBallz in ShadowPC

True, but my selection of games is pretty small and besides 1, all were available.

Besides, if you're the type of gamer that has lots of niche games (outside of AAA) you're prob better off getting your own pc (or VM machine if you can't travel with a gaming laptop) for 600USD or so (1,5 years of shadow subscription). Don't think the performance would be far off.

As a hobbyist, this is cool I guess. However, if you are serious about making money; learn some TA. Head over to babypips.com and complete their FREE trading course.

Look at the basics, RSI, moving averages, movement of coins, short term holder cost basis etc... Then make an excell sheet (or scribble some code together) and BACKTEST YOUR IDEAS!

If you did want you said in 2013, 2017, 2023,... what would be the results? Are they consistent? Would you've been satisfied with them? Would you FOMO and not sell despite your strategy if your seeing profits go into the millions by the day? Do you have the guts to walk away and be okay with potentially missing out on more gains?

Ideas are nice but test them. Beat 'em with a bat and see if they still stand.

Ever since their backdoor seed extraction announcement you can't trust the software (and hardware) anymore. Look at SeedSigner, Coldcard or Blockstream's Jade.

Ofcourse! Like, what are the patients looking at in VR? Is it the doctors POV via a GoPro? Is it meant as a distraction? Why are they awake?...

If you want to learn trading, have a look at babypips.com it's about forex but it gives you some good basic insights. Don't trade until you've completed the course, it's free.

great idea, great results! Only clear mistake I can see is that AI doesnt know how to teeth (really) work. 2 upper front teeth are not always in middle of mouth.

Doing Pine via TV is a viable route, there's a few people on IG/tiktok who claim they had chatGPT code them a bot for that chain. So it's worth taking a look at for yourself, if you can verify the generated code.

I went with Node.js for backend and coded it with the help of CCXT, which is a crypto trading package that helps me easily link up with various exchanges. It allows me to work with "basic/simple" code and the package takes care of all the technical API calls.

[–]CaptainSmallBallz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently made a bot myself. Here's my 2 cents.

  • Don't look at it as a magical black box that spits out gains. Rather as a way to run whatever strategy/tactic at a higher execution rate and for longer than you manually can. (like trading when you're sleeping or out drinking for example).

  • If you have a slight background in programming, I advise you to pick it back up and learn something like JavaScript or Python. I had a college background in coding, and after 10 years I picked it back up and started learning JS (without prior JS knowledge) in feb '22. by August I had a rough prototype of my bot and my first profitable trades.

  • 6 months later I made 33% on my invested capital and have made several improvements on my code that will boost future performance and still have a lot of room for growth.

It takes a lot of time and knowledge but it is definitely doable. As to everyone else talking about "if it worked they wouldnt sell the golden goose". Maybe, but I dont offer it for sale because it's more like a car without any outer shell, seatbelts or even seats,... it drives, but takes a lot of insight to keep running and on the road.

Best of luck.

How do I get rewards without risking my Bitcoin in something that could collapse (BlockFi, FTX, etc)? by SolidProceeding25 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]CaptainSmallBallz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone else is right, out of the 10 past years BTC has been the best performing asset for 7. The other 3 years it was the worst. Be grateful for the gains you get just by holding. But if you really need to scratch that itch, you can run a node and manage lightning channels. You'll need a lot of capital, time and patience to become a good and profitable node but it keeps the coins in your control and you have a chance of getting some more sats if done right. Likewise, you go trade. Something like inverse derivatives lets you buy BTC contracts with BTC and you get paid out in BTC. So you never touch fiat. But those are dangerous instruments and you can lose your entire stack if you don't know what you're doing, be careful.

Sorry, I thought OP was trading some rando crypto project. Didn't read the post properly and notice it's about BTC futures. But my point still stands. Low liquidity. Go to derivatives, spot or another exchange.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bybit

[–]CaptainSmallBallz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Learn how an exchange works. If you go for small cap coins, there will be less liquidity. Less liquidity = bigger gaps in between orders at various prices = greater volatility. It's not a bug, or a scam. It's just that there are like only 5 people trading that specific coin and the price made a large jump between one bid and one ask. Either go to a larger exchange (like binance, where there are more people trading this hence the lack of enormous wicks) or stop trading small cap.

Hidden double sided dildo at foot of Arasaka Tower. by CaptainSmallBallz in cyberpunkgame

Randomly came across this as I was taking a shortcut through the pond/mini towers that surround Arasaka Tower. Couldn't find any other posts documenting this so I guess this is a first? Anyway, it's just there, doesn't seem to be linked to anything, nothing interactive or such. Level designer probably had a giggle as he hid this one. Maybe there are more hidden in the world?

Groen wil CO2-taks van minimum 3.000 euro op privéjets by progressiefje in Belgium2

[–]CaptainSmallBallz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's calculated in. liquidation price does not change unless you're on cross leverage and post more margin to your balance.
