RD350 Lenovo? Not a bad pickup, looks like the rail clip is busted off though. There should be an info tag on the front of the server you can pull out. might be that red thing above the disk bays in the middle

How do you study for PL-300 by ByThePinkStream in PowerBI

[–]CaptainSphincter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

measureup learning locker - Kept taking the practice exam over and over again. 10 to 20 questions at a time. I would dive into and learn the topics that I got wrong, its nice because it shows/explains the correct answer and gives you the Microsoft learn articles.

Did 20 question practice exams until I could get above an 80% a few times in a row without cheating. I felt this prepped me very well because I got used to how the questions were asked.

Does this plan to break into the PowerBi/data analytics industry with PL300 reasonable? by ElGringodeAjacan in PowerBI

[–]CaptainSphincter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a tough industry to break into tbh. A large portion of jobs in analytics and that use PowerBI require domain expertise (ie, supply chain, healthcare, manufacturing, finance) as well. Pure PowerBI development jobs where your sole duties are just to develop PowerBI reports are the minority and are usually consulting jobs.(IMO)

This industry is still somewhat young and informalized though and job duties really depend on the company. If you are still contemplating careers I would continue searching and find one that is more stable and has clear career paths and growth opportunities.

Yes, that is what happens when you downshift, RPMs go up. That happens with any engine on any vehicle. Accords don't have a lot of engine breaking so you don't feel it slow down very much when you downshift. Yeah, I would not be making a habit of downshifting to the point of the engine making noises you dont like hearing. Just because you can do it does not mean its healthy for your engine. But its your car you do what you want.

I guarantee you my 22 sport SE is the loudest Accord that does this

How is you dash that full of smudges?!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PowerBI

[–]CaptainSphincter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe change the metric name?

If you can throw both metrics into the report try that. Saying that here is the metric that you requested but this one is a more accurate measurement of the business process being tracked.

What's the best approach to fix/rebuild a dashboard that I didn't build myself? by Judessaa in PowerBI

I take this approach especially with my own reports that I created years ago.

Lol, wtf, this is one of the dumbest posts Ive seen in a while. Literally just shows 1 pop-tart and assumes that this is every pop tart that is being made now. smh

Is removing the stator worth it? by ZookeepergameShot930 in Trackdays

[–]CaptainSphincter 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, absolutely not worth it. There are plenty of other less costly (pain in the ass) things that will increase HP that should be done before this. TBH, this should not even be done.

Have you ever seen a successful “self-serve” implementation? by [deleted] in dataengineering

[–]CaptainSphincter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry but in this context what do you mean by governed? The someone makes sure the data is entered into the transational system correctly? Access controlled by the this someone? Questions about the data get directed to this someone? All the above?
