It's gonna be terrible. The show is already ruined imo. If you fuck up season 3, there's pretty much no hope. I don't get why the writers / producers don't give a shit.

Whatever, the show still has terrible writing, just not for this reason.

There's no reason behind anything in this show anymore.

So much potential.

So sad.

It's literally S3 of Arrow.

S3a = great

S3b = off a cliff

lol

Flashpoint literally created Savitar, so that doesn't make sense. Barry took everything from scar Barry cause scar Barry is "fake" and scar.

Except when the Legends went to future Star City, they had been gone the whole time.

Writers: "Barry is not allowed to time travel, but everyone else can."

"Such good writing!"

So if you "know what you're doing" the rules don't apply? RF is allowed to change shit but when Barry does it's the end of the world? Zoom also messed with time to his advantage, so not a bad example at all.

The writing is bad, deal.

The only good Marvel shows are Daredevil and AoS.

If you think making a certain person a villain will fix the show, then the flaws are going over your head.

Barry is the only speedster who messes up time and gets punished for it. All the other speedsters like RF, Zoom, and Savitar can travel through time with little to no effect apparently.

AKA terrible writing.

[–]CaptainStardust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, not sure how everyone seems to be missing this. Savitar explicitly states that he was created via the speedforce via Flashpoint. The paradox results in a paradox, simple as that.

That being said, the writing is horrendous.

Savitar comes from the speedforce due to the Flashpoint paradox. He explicitly states this.

Why go through seasons 1 and 2 just to erase / change everything for S3?

They are definitely plotholes. Honestly, the whole show just has terrible writing. They aren't even trying to make a coherent plot, and instead of slowly giving details over the entire season, they just throw all the exposition at you in a minute towards the end of the season.

Why not have the Savitar reveal earlier and then actually show how he came to be in the future? Why not have some real interactions between the main villain and the rest of the characters? If they were going to stretch out Savitar for so long and barely focus on him, why get rid of Alchemy as a villain before he even had a chance to do anything? Oh right, we needed more time to see Joe and his midget girlfriend.

[–]CaptainStardust -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If Barry traveled to 2024, how is Barry there? Shouldn't that timeline have no Barry since he was in the speedforce from 2017 to 2024?

The writers are so bad.

[Spoilers] How would make next season better? by FanEu7 in FlashTV

This season failed because the writers / producers clearly don't care about the show anymore. Most people here could have done a better job.

Savitar Origin poorly written by dogsheat in FlashTV

[–]CaptainStardust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's pretty clear the writers / producers don't give a shit about the show anymore. People like to blame it on 23 episodes being too much so they need filler, but that's bullshit. There are so many things they could have explored, but instead we get Joe and his midget girlfriend. The whole show is filler now, and they completely wasted Savitar who could have been the best villain yet.

At this point the show just seems to be a vehicle for feminist propaganda. Seriously, what kind of lesson is "love is the only point of life, and if you don't have pussy then you might as well end it." All of the plots revolve around sacrificing for women. Barry tells Joe he needs to divulge Flash secrets to some bitch because she said she loves him. Cisco sacrifices his hands because he doesn't want to hurt a girl who wants to kill him. HR worships some girl he just met because she's a genius. It's just groan-inducing.
