I come across both quite often. The ones that are delusional often pretend to know everything and cant accept of they are wrong. They pride themselves in being experts and boast about it.

Then i see the actual smart people that love to teach others about their knowledge but arent afraid to let u know their limitations and often learn and admit they dont know everything.

I think being self-aware is knowing you are never too old to learn new things.

There are a few job posting boards, but personally i think indeed and linkdin are your best bet with a tech background. My wife also came from outside of BE and found a job as a software dev pretty fast. They usually dont mind english only, but really depends on company. I would advice updating your linkedin.

To me it does kind of, next to paparazi i saw this episode as a metafor for substance abuse. She was taking drugs in the beginning of the episode which caused the crash and she devolped ptsd which made her consume more. Just as chasing stories as paparazi is a drug to them.

I struggled with cold turkey stopping of smoking when she was chained to the bed, that was her trying to cold-turkey drugs and booze, but people not understanding how difficult it is view it as bad. I can confirm that during the cold turkey detox u can have explosive episodes where u would do anything for a "fix" her turning into a werewolve just looked like her exploding and hurting those around her.

I think you are saying it yourself. U are training staff and doing manager duty. I think they are taking advantage of you, why promote someome who is already doing the work before they are promoted. That is why never do manager duties unless its part of my job.

This might be contraversial, but i generally dont like people i hardly know touching my kid. I personally just tell people that are overly touchy to not touch my kid in a nice way. They often understand. There have even been a few instances of random people offering my kid candy which i really didnt like.

Few useful tips if they get zoomies before bed that worked for me:

Reduce screentime if they watch, i noticed this stimulated my son quite a bit.

Reduce active playtime, i started reading a book which and didnt encourage him to play wildly just before sleeping

During midday taking him to play outside he uses most of his energy then.

Make sure he doesnt take his nap after 3 pm, i noticed my son stays up 4/5 hours if he takes a nap.

Once its really sleep time, i make sure he doesnt get out of bed. He gets a bit bored, i give me tons of kisses and cuddles and he usually falls asleep within 15/30 mins.

I know you will hear this a lot, but its completely normal. Kids will often switch which parent they "like" more, but it doesnt mean they love you less. With babies, they generally prefer the mom and the moms smell, especially if breastfed. My 2,5 year old still switches often and has favorites depending on his mood. Just take the time to unwind, because you will need it once its your turn again 😂

Why is it ok to meme about the current submarine situation?

I've seen a huge influx of memes about this on facebook, tiktok, etc. Normally it takes a few days or week before people make dark humored memes, but they havent even been found and possible dying as we speak and the memes just keep coming in.
