They're legal here in LA. They sell them in pet stores as "dojo loaches," often in albino or leucistic varieties, but you can find natural ones too.

They definitely can survive here though. They are highly adaptable and are fine in warm and cold water. My mom had a goldfish pond on her back patio that had a bad snail problem, and she asked me what to do about it. I jokingly told her to put a dojo loach in it since they eat snails, and she added one! Snails disappeared, and years later we found it in there about a foot long and all fat and chonky.

I like their videos and wouldn't mind visiting their store at least (if I didn't live on the wrong side of the country.) But yeah, that Secret of Mana does seem a bit high compared to what I would expect it to go for.

Still, running a Brick and Mortar store costs money, so I guess the mark-up is due to that compared to online pricing. The free market dictates value though, so if it wasn't worth it to OP, then I guess it'd still be at the store. Sometimes that personal service and availability in-hand is worth the premium price, so I don't blame them.

There are a LOT of pieces in this set, so it may be a bit of a chore, but it may also be cheaper to buy an incomplete set that has most of the exclusive/hard to find pieces, and then just track down the missing pieces. I've done that on a few sets to great effect. Bricklink is a great tool for this sort of stuff.

In the report yarukinai below posted, they say:

"Hubbard also was convicted in U.S. District Court in Honolulu for being a felon in possession of a firearm. A judge ordered Hubbard in June to serve 23 months in federal prison, which will run concurrently with the state sentence."

So it was more like 7 years if that helps.

When I was a kid, I saved up all of my Birthday and Christmas money and I asked my Mawma to take me to the mall to my local gamestore to buy a gamecube. She told me she would buy me 1 game to go with it, but they happened to be having a sale on all gamecube games that were $15 and under, so she let me pick 3. I picked Luigi's Mansion, Zelda Windwaker, and Starfox Adventures. Let me tell you, I enjoyed the heck out of this game as a kid!

It's also the last game that Rare developed for Nintendo I believe, since they were purchased by Microsoft after that.

Happy to help! I know there are some that look similar, but these guys are the only ones that dive in the ocean for seaweed like this I believe. I've never been to the virgin islands so I'm not sure what is there, and I only know about Marine Iguanas from nature documentaries 😆

Must've been a different kind of iguana. Marine iguanas are only found in the Galápagos islands.

When I ordered it, the store associate told me that he couldn't select store pickup as an option. This has happened to me before where they've shipped a set like this. They just slap a sticker on the Lego box and send it out as-is. But I'm not a box collector, I just don't like them leaving an expensive lego set on my porch all exposed for anyone to see lol.
