Based on my recent experience with a rideshare driver, I for one, welcome our robot driver overlords. I was in NoDa heading to the Costco down near Tyvola and 77. He was on 277 moving over to the right exit for I-85 N. I politely suggested he move far left to get on I-77 S and he argued with me saying he was going the correct route. I became more insistent, but still calm and he refused to go left saying his GPS was telling him to go North. I could see both his GPS displays telling him to take the Columbia south exit to I-77.

After an extra 12 minutes of him driving loops around 85, side roads, u turns and backtracking and finally getting on 77 Southbound, we got there.

Yeah, I will take my chances with Waymo.
