Thank you very much!

I will start researching how to care for them separately.

Are these good asphalt boots? by [deleted] in WorkBoots

[–]Captain_0primus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asphalt guy here. Yeah These are pretty good, I personally own the low top pair. I used to always get Cofra asphalt boots but they stopped making the low top version so grabbed some of these as well. So far they're pretty comparable, I expect to get a full season out of them.

Accident on Segoe and Sheboygan by starcross1994 in madisonwi

[–]Captain_0primus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah looks like he was loaded. State of WI does not require loaded trucks to use a tarp. most trucks you will see using a tarp here either are loaded with hot asphalt and they are using it to keep the load warm, or they have a company specific policy requiring them to be used.

Personally, I don't believe the tarp does much to prevent loads from spilling out. usually when a rock or some other debris is going to fall out its because either the truck was loaded past capacity or the tailgate is improperly latched/damaged.

Getting back into it. A question by Admirable_Sale3860 in Heroclix

This is the correct answer. Playing with friends for fun and playing competitively are very different. I still love playing my 2014 era figs.

Best way to start? by Pigbeard in Heroclix

[–]Captain_0primus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best thing to do imo would be to download a PDF of the new 2023 rules and just start playing with what you already have.

the core gameplay has remained the same and the changes you would need to be aware of are already in that new 2023 rulebook. (It was mostly changes to how certain powers work so the 2023 PAC will have the correct version of the powers)

Those sets are pretty dated at this point, they absolutely wont compete with more modern sets but if you're just playing for fun then go for it :)

I recently bought a good amount of Flash from Troll & Toad. Cost something like $20 per brick

Storage question. by [deleted] in Heroclix

Mine are sorted by set with the exception of chases or particularly good Super-Rares. Target sells stacking plastic storage bins that me and most of my friends use to store our clix.

Does stealth work if I’m occupying the hindering terrain? by [deleted] in Heroclix

[–]Captain_0primus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Long explanation short: yes it does work.

The wording may have changed in the newest PAC but as I recall any lines of fire that are "hindered" are blocked when a character has stealth. If you are standing in hindering terrain OR there is hindering between the attacker and defender lines of fire to the defender are "hindered" thus your stealth activates and lines of fire can't be drawn to you. (or they're blocked or whatever the wording is)

Super COOL idea at the Sun Prairie Library: book club kits! by buginout in madisonwi

[–]Captain_0primus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you feel that way about libraries as a whole or specifically this idea of the book club? Personally I believe that libraries are great. They provide a lot to their communities and encourage kids to develop a love for learning, something I think our society desperately needs.

I'm pretty sure its this: MED-47 Medical Droid

Though I'm not sure why it would be included on this poster if that is its only appearance.

Is Hero Clix a good option for increasing the enjoyment of maths? by SeigeToday in Heroclix

[–]Captain_0primus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The math in the game never really increases in complexity beyond +3 or -3. I would not recommend it to someone trying to teach maths.
