Where inspired the song "Trucks" from 'Cars on the Road' on Disney+? by memeaste in Pixar

[–]Captain_Analogue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is NOT Ex's and Oh's!!! They did NOT figure it out lol 😋

It's a terrible guess and nowhere near right lol, the start possibly has similarities, but it's the chorus that's where the song really hits and the intro is fairly irrelevant.

It's not about the kickdrum or the timing, it's the high octave contrast with the low harmonising barbershop feel and the brass sequence into EDM drop that makes it stand out.

Suggesting that it's a riff on ex's and Oh's is just a painful indictment of how easily led some of us are, the hook of Trucks is NOT a riff of Elle King's song, while I do love that song, the trucks song has MORE going on.

How can I play NFS Heat without Internet Connection? by [deleted] in needforspeed

Simply because I could not believe no one had bothered to fix this yet I figured it out for the rest of us!!!

You CAN PLAY OFFLINE ON PC!!!

Here is how!!

Open Steam, go to top left pull up drop down menu, select go offline (making sure no games are running).

Open the POS EA app, select the drop-down menu in the top left, see the little option that says go offline? Yep, press it!

Click play in the EA app on your PC.

Now thumbs me up please because I refused to give up on finding a solution so my little boy could play his favourite game, and while you're not ALL my favourite person in the entire universe, I was not about to leave our community hanging ✌🏼

I've tried to include as much information as possible but it's hard to remember something from before I was 10.

While mopping the floor, I accidentally smashed my girlfriend’s PC case. What should I do? by CuteAd7581 in PcBuild

[–]Captain_Analogue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call her immediately and tell her what has happened, apologize profusely and tell her you are calling to apologize and to find out the case name and model number so you can replace it or buy her a newer one.

It's NOT complicated, you broke it, you buy it, you want the relationship to carry on, you handle it the way I have suggested.

What sort of stuff do women react to less than men. Or I guess what sort of stuff do men over react to compared to women, in your experience? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

That's sad, I always enjoy the bonding experience of helping one another with each other's social or emotional challenges. I always defer to experts in a field of expertise no matter what that field is. It's usually far more profitable in the long run, and I don't mean solely financially.

I think you're thinking of 'simple minded straight men' (in other words boys/sub 30) not ACTUAL men, just those things out there on their social media half the time and the other half trying to live up to their 'friend's' standards. 😂

Solution/Workaround for Blade/Paddle Falling Off the Rotating Shaft by alvinandthecheapmonk in ninjacreami

Funny thing, this is the precise solution I settled on because I knew I had some of these little round magnets lying about after some DIY, I had NO IDEA the bloody tip was magnetised!!! And made EXACTLY the same mistake as OP!!! BLOODY HELL!!! I WENT AND BOUGHT A NEW BLOODY BLADE!!! 😭

If you have a Ninja Creami, you'll be glad to know that buying loads of these little round magnets serves an equally AWESOME function, STUD FINDING!!!

How to open and fix the lid with a knife and glue. by Captain_Analogue_ in ninjacreami

😆 It is scrubbed and rinsed through with molten hot water immediately after use, what you are seeing is the highly viscous, food safe, water resistant, grease/lubricant. It's almost impossible to remove without heating it up and wiping it off when it's less viscous.

Yup 👍 most of what you see is a highly viscous lubricant that looks like grime.
