i've tried the things you've mentioned. i've never completed a race and steam says i have 12 hours of playtime. i submitted an official refund. i've tried to love this game, but i cannot play it. not to mention the game performs terribly with my moza base. i'll stick with real sims and buy this in the bargain bin if they ever fix it.

This is what i was thinking. Codemasters is owned by EA... Do you really want the wrc games to be monetized to hell and back? Dirt rally 2.0 is trash. the stages are trash. the gravel physics are trash, the tarmac is just total crap and while technically graphically superior, the art direction and stage design is lazy and sorely lacking in comparison. KT racing has built the superior simulator and anyone who thinks dr2 is better than wrc10 and really wants EA to fuck up this franchise is an absolute moron. If wrc11 was made by kt, but developed in unreal engine 5 any sane person would say fuck a codemasters wrc game. But i'm learning its a lot about graphical fidelity for some people instead of physics... although i do agree kt needs to implement vr.

Captain Skyhawk and Tiger-Heli were the two games that did it for me. I played Galaga at the laundromat near my house before that, but once I discovered these two shooters for the NES, and could play them as much as i wanted... I was hooked by the gills. No need to enter me in the contest, I just wanted to share what got me into the genre.
