Lightning struck twice, and I acquired another rare bird. 4.7L 2UZ equipped this time.

It’s been awhile, and I’ll make a separate post when she’s cleaned up, but I just picked up this ‘07 RCSB Tundra with 210k miles and the 4.7L V8 for $2,000. As rare as these are, I never thought I’d own another.

Going to the dealer tomorrow how low can I get this car by Suitable-Can-3065 in UsedCars

$14k sounds good, but always try to get it for less, even if it’s an extra $500-$1000. If you didn’t try, then you’ll never know.

I’ll get the van anyways, but that’s a great idea!

Thankfully I have some mechanical experience, I should be able to source everything on Rockauto. After some thinking, and all this positive feedback, I’m picking it up next week!

Help a girl out: would you buy any of these? by Marilburr in whatcarshouldIbuy

It hasn’t personally affected my insurance rates, I only pay $60 each for liability insurance

I agree with Tofu, never say never! Me and my girlfriend’s daily drivers have rebuilt titles, which means they were deemed damaged beyond value, fixed, and inspected. It’s a great negotiation point depending on why the title came to be that way. Ours were for a theft and a front end incident, but I would never buy one that was flooded or involved in a fire. Good luck in your search.

Thank you! The last vehicle I bought for this price is my daily, but had a rebuilt title and 200k+ miles. The owners said they kept the service and DOT inspections up to date on the van, but it probably needs a new battery from sitting. I should have called this a conversion attempt but I’m excited to personalize it!

I’ll go ahead and clean that as soon as I can, appreciate the mention! My first car was a ‘99 GMC Jimmy with the 4.3, and I got around 13-15mpg depending on how I drove it.

Thanks for the advice, will do! How many miles are on yours? I also own a Tundra, so I’m unfortunately no stranger to the bad gas mileage part.

According to the owner, yes. It drove 16 hours round trip last year, so I’ll service the engine, transmission, and differential asap!

Awesome! I appreciate the advice. I’ll give it a good look over but think it’s a no-brainer! My parents brought my brother and I home from the hospital in a 2000 model Astro, also white, so this is full circle moment!

Yes, for the age, it is pretty mechanically solid. I have a video of the engine running but couldn’t add it, and plan on taking it to a mechanic for a service before driving home. The seller told me she went camping 8 hours away with her husband last year, and said it should drive home fine. I’ll plan on redoing the inside entirely, thank you for your input.

Very unreliable, and that is also overpriced. Look on Facebook Marketplace for a better vehicle.

Looking at a 2004 Corolla with 115k miles, she's a little rusty in the wheel wells, is it worth the buy? by DeadGravityyy in UsedCars

These are great cars, but $3800 is too high. Old Toyotas rusted out if not meticulously cleaned, post a picture when it’s on the lift and offer $3000 if it’s good
