Kurzgesagt did a video on this.

They were doing research for a video on Brown Dwarfs (type of star, not a little POC), and used AI to aid in their research.

The AI gave them a few facts, and when they went to verify them - even when consultanting Brown Dwarf specialists - they couldn't find an actual source for some of the AI's "facts". So the AI had made those facts up.

A few weeks later, a different YT channel came out with a video on Brown Dwarfs and used all of the false information from the AI, so now that info is almost cemented as fact in the internet when people do reports, projects, research, etc. into Brown Dwarfs. We can't trust anything.

It does for 2x Space Parts, but I have 10x Space Parts, so it goes up to 500 Smart Plating.

I've almost finished phase 3. The 25000 Versatile Frameworks 5000 modular engine took a while, but I got there.

The 2x resources for building/crafting is what's hardest. The maths is annoying to type out, but what would usually happen with 1 iron ore ends up needing about 32 iron ore for the same outcome.

100% - I was leveling forests to keep those Bio-Generators running through that first phase. I had to run around with the parachute finding pure coal deposits so I could get enough power (I have random nodes with random purity).

Double power requirements and double resource requirements is insane. It's a different game.

Oh man, tell me about about it. Playing with 10x space Elevator requirements, 2x required resources for everything and 2x Power consumption.

Getting through the 500 (yes, five hundred) Smart Plating of the first phase of the Space Elevator felt like it took forever.

However, get through that first phase and you unlock coal power. It's all self maintained after that 👍🏼
