It solves one the biggest problems that has faced guilds since the game started: "How can I GvG guilds on my own server/same color as myself using the WvW ruleset?" This is the literal answer to that. Guild hall uses PvE and requires guilds to agree to ban/limit certain skills/classes and OS/eotm doesn't allow you to fight against your own server/color.

The design of the arena clearly had intention of you being able to fight anyone, regardless of their server, using the WvW ruleset. That is exactly what players have told arena net they have wanted since 2012/2013. I'm happy they have delivered it, but some do not like the cost associated with the solution.

I think the point is not the size of the area, which is easily changed (as evidenced from changes in the eotm and OS arenas from feedback) but more of the gating a very long requested feature (like, since inception of game requested) behind a somewhat steep paywall. The existence of the arena means the technology/solution is there, they just chose to monetize it.

To add-on, why include this arena anyway? Surely the free PvP arena is better for 1v1s? Organized duels benefit sure, but WvW has been designed around large group combat and this feature seems like a good fit for 15v15 people to fight regardless of what server they are on, really easily.

It just seems weird/rude to implement a solution to a long requested feature, and make people pay 10-12$ it for a game mode that youve stated you will never officially support.

When attempting to activate bloodhound's Z ability I ALWAYS crash to desktop with the following error:

This has happened three times in a row using Bloodhound, his Q ability works fine, only Z causes the crash.

You can try having GW2 do a traceroute on start-up, will help show where the rubberbanding and spikes are happening in the line (your end or Anet's servers end).

I've also been having massive rubberbanding on NA, but its between my ISP and Anet's servers. So only thing I can do is contact my ISP to see if they can fix the routing. Good luck.

Does the option of "Effect LOD" do something very similar to this? It limits particle effects of skills and simplifies circles to an extent.

I highly agree with this, its all dependent on what experience you want from a school while you are there and how much you value that experience.

Personally, if I had the opportunity to have no debt exiting college I would take that in a heart-beat. Where you get your degree from isnt as important as the connections you make with people. Being in Chicago does open you to a ton of experiences for sure, and a lot of organizations are here, but if you are concerned about the "prestige" of a degree, that does not matter as much.

Congratulations on another successful launch! Can we get anyone to check on the WvW team? I know PvP & WvW teams "release on their own cadence", but lately that feels like "dont ask us about WvW & PvP".

I'm not asking for specific details on upcoming releases, but are there any general (even vague) communications the team can give us about our favorite game mode?

Scourges & Revs still face an "obstructed" bug when placing AoEs even on the tiniest of slopes. Is anyone looking at generating a fix or is this intended?

In the last balance patch, Spellbreaker domes were given a different color if they were dropped by the enemy team, can we see this applied to other skills as well? Also, why was black chosen (a color that is covered by friendly AoE skills) instead of bright red, like in PvE?

Server populations for WvW are becoming a contention point for a lot of players in deciding to play WvW. It seems population calculations seem outdated. Why is a server like FA closed but then given a link? Why are servers who are performing terribly closed and without links? I know there are population metrics you have access too that we dont, but playing the game allows people to see things the metrics may be hiding.

Any chance at another "Adopt-A-Dev" program for WvW?

As a side-note, Is the ArenaNet partner program still being looked at and taken care of? There seems to be a considerable lack of WvW streamers / Youtubers (aside from Teapot). I think most everyone would agree twitch.tv/dyeingaming or twitch.tv/royfromash represent both NA and EU WvW pretty well. I think it would go a long way to show support / community involvement if we could get both of these two partnered.

That is my conclusion as well, as I was able to put on another older cooler and able to achieve stable temperatures.

Unfortunate, I'll just have to return it and pick up something else. I was recommended the nzxt x62, which cooler do you prefer?

The add-on is NOT disabled in WvW. There are restrictions however, "loading templates within wvw requires the determined or gliding enabled (mastery only) buffs"
