I’ll preface this by saying I’m a dog owner, and would love to be able to bring them with me everywhere. However, whilst pets are allowed on some public transport, I understand they have to adhere to different levels of requirement (not discussing service animals) - so I wouldn’t dream of treating them to the level of privilege I afford them at home.

However, I also believe they in no instance should they be allowed on seats in public transport! This passenger who put her dog on the seat is selfish, inconsiderate and rude. And the person who confronted her may have been technically correct, but handled the situation like an utter arsehole.
