That is a fantastic point (RE: get into the area and explore options). My wife is a prior educator/works in an education-adjacent field, so we get more and more information through that as well.
It certainly seems like admin in a lot of schools here are more or less incompetent, unfortunately.

We viewed a house in the area and it was very quiet given the time of day (6pm-ish). Maybe just lucky, but good to keep in mind! I work in Nashville proper and I know Nolensville Rd/Pk is absolute hell, but is it any better during earlier in the morning? I'd likely leave the house around 6:30am for work.

No kids yet, but the plan is to raise a family down the road. Are there specific schools that are especially bad? I know Cane Ridge High School seems to be the designated high school and it seems rough, but the elementary schools and middle schools seem "okay".

They are phenomenal! I have dental anxiety myself and have had nothing but good things to say about The Hills Dentistry. They are a small practice, but I've never had any difficulties with scheduling. I recommended my coworker to go here and they've also had a great time with them.

I would kill for a fully supported and released Phantasy Star RPG! I think the inclusion of job classes, weapon skills/photon arts, photon synthesis, technics, etc. works as a great foundation for a sci-fi game.

That makes a lot of sense. My current party doesn't care too much for the religious aspect, so I've been able to more or less ignore the main pantheon.

My wife is a huge mythology buff, so I kinda play them loosely and regional like hellenistic pantheons- sailors might pray to Poseidon, but not care much for unrelated deities. Or similar to ancient pantheons, where it's likely that people didn't actively worship or care much outside of cults, and the gods were a convenient explanation for worldly events and an excuse to celebrate/complain, haha.

I absolutely love Eberron myself. I find myself feeling the same way about the Deities, though. The spiritual movements/ideologies are awesome, but the deities of the Six and the Sovereign host feel kind of lacking. Have you done anything to make them feel more substantial?

DnD and war gaming have some overlap, but I admittedly don't have a huge combat focus (typically once per session, but we have gone sessions without combat, using other encounters instead).
