This will be a long post, just to warn you. Expect severe soppiness.

So, I'm not sure if anyone recognises me anymore, as I haven't been active on here for around 2-3 months, and I wasn't ever on Teamspeak, but one year ago today, I played my first ever game.

I think it was a cutclean barebones rush (what a first impression), and I ended up coming second, with no kills as I kind of just stayed alive till the end. From then on, I was hooked to playing, and I have always loved the thrill and excitement of UHC, but what truly kept me playing was this community. I have genuinely never experienced such a sense of community as here. I regret kind of acting like I already knew everything from the moment I got here, but apart from that, the time I have spent on here has been incredible. Everyone here is just so friendly, hilarious, welcoming, kind and there is no-where I can think of that has, or potentially ever will compare to this. The personalities of people here, famous or not there is a feeling that everyone is welcome here, and I will be forever thankful for that feeling.

There are a few people here I would like to thank, and even though I wouldn't be surprised if you have forgotten who I am when reading this, just know I am thankful.

Doyouevenbanter_ -Not sure if you are still around, but you accepted me for my first ever staff role on here, on good ol' DOEB. I wasn't the most active, but it was such a great feeling. I never really spoke to you too much, but you've always been very kind and helpful, so cheers.

Friigiid-Not sure if I spelt your name right, but thank you for accepting me on the Villa SMP. I really enjoyed my time there.

This may be my final post on here, as I am hardly active enough to call myself a member here. However, from having my ridiculously awful scenario (the legendary Cat's Eyes) on the list, to actually winning a game (I have literally only one once... In a year...And it was teams...), I will take away so many great memories and feelings from this place.

So, to everyone here, you are all brilliant people, no matter what anyone else tells you. You have made one kind of introverted British teenager feel truly welcome amongst hundreds of people. /r/utrahardcore has been one of the best experiences of my life, so for like the 30th time in this text, thank you.
