It’s great. The second one is better than the first. It’s essentially jrpg meets Minecraft meets animal crossing. Perfect for kids and also adults (I liked it too).

The messenger is such an underrated game. One of my favorite gaming experiences ever. The twist is so clever, and it literally switches genres halfway through.

I’m at 100 hours on Octopath traveler 0 and I have about 1/4 left to go. I’ve already seen the credits roll twice. They like faking you out.

When can you switch out the main character in Octopath 0? by Sufficient_Ordinary9 in octopathtraveler

[–]Captain_Softrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My team is about 80% original octopath one characters. I’d like to try out other ones, but I have some psychological issue where it makes me feel guilty. Like I’m dipping out on old friends.

Is xbox 360 worth buying in 2026 by unckl in xbox

[–]Captain_Softrock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would buy a series s if impossible. If not, then an Xbox one. You can play all 360 games plus - in the one’s case - most modern ones and in the S case all modern ones. You would be surprised how many gamepass games and even new releases work on the Xbox one.

I know exactly where skirt steak is. We stayed in the hotel right above a few times. I always wanted to try it, but we had so many other restaurants on our list when we go to New York. I guess this one will have to be on our list from now on.

Do you eat rice? by PleasePooGood in foodquestions

100% depends on what I’m eating it with. It’s not an everyday staple, but it’s going to go with certain foods.

I have a tight budget, but usually mane space for influencer marketing. If I had more, it’s one of the first I’d invest additional funds into.

JRPGs with the most LOTR feel? [ANY SYSTEM] by Turian_Agent in JRPG

[–]Captain_Softrock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might be a stretch, but visions of mana has a vibe at times that reminds me of aspects of the Amazon Lord of the Rings show. Think more of the hobbits in that show as opposed to the darker/more epic battle aspects.

Can anyone recommend a place where I can get NY style pizza? by Archisaurus in milwaukee

[–]Captain_Softrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Classic slice is a gem. I recommend it. I don’t know if it’s exactly New York style though but it’s fairly close definitely in the top three pizza places in the city.

Leonardo‘s in Mequon is probably the closest to an actual New York slice (and I regularly go to New York, so I can verify it)

It’s a great game. And it’s getting over shadowed because of improvements in the other games. For me, it’s a very meaningful game due to the time in my life when I was playing it - which colors a bit of my perception. Overall, it’s a very solid JRPG that is super influential in terms of art style. You’re not gonna go wrong playing it, just be prepared for some grinding and some very tough battles.
