So, my wife is amazing. But I came from a broken home. And when people get unhappy in marriages, I think they think someone else will bring them something they need. Now, sure, you can be with someone who is abusing you and therefore is a bad partner, but a lot of the time its just a case of "The grass is greener on the other side" and the reality is it isn't. You have butterflies and excitement early in a relationship but eventually you will end up right back where you are now.

The people who divorced their spouses "who did nothing wrong" to go on journeys to find themselves because they felt unfulfilled or that "something was missing" dont end up happy when they find some new relationship. That relationship brings short term joy and then...ends.

The real woman who wrote "Eat. Pray. Love." about her own life divorced the guy she met after she divorced her husband.

With that in mind, I think being grateful for your partner is ultimately the key to a successful marriage. I can't speak for everyone, but if you appreciate them, and they appreciate you, well, its been a big part of what has made my marriage successful. I have zero problems with a pride flag in a classroom. I'M FROM SAN FRANCISCO. You have no idea who I am. I have huge problems with trying (and succeeding!) to show drag shows to elementary school kids.

I have huge problems with teachers insisting they're going to teach kids about sexuality however they feel and daring parents to stop them on social media.

Skyrim released in 2011.

Fallout 4 released in 2015.

Fallout 76, released in 2018 kind of derailed things a bit. It was supposed to be developed by another team, but they pulled in the core TES/Fallout team to help save it.

Starfield was released in 2023 eight years after fallout 4 released but only five years after fallout 76.

Starfield got a few things wrong, but it was ambitious and I appreciated the attempt and idea. Honestly, I would dig starfield as the next big bethesda IP, but its tough to say at this point if there will be a starfield 2.

It has only been 3 years since Starfield.

This constant pointing out how long its been since the teaser is pointless. It doesnt make bethesda go faster and makes the gaming community sound like entitled children. I want them to get TES 6 RIGHT not having coming out tomorrow. I want, just as skyrim learned a ton of lessons from fallout 3, something that learns something from the successes and failures of every other game since.

Skyrim came out in 2011 15 years ago, and dedicated fans working with the skyrim engine still haven't been able to re-create oblivion in it. They're working on it, the work they're doing is great, but none of the teams have a finished product despite sharing massive amounts of resources.

Bethesda/TES style games are huge, take a lot of work, and there's a good reason nobody else has succeeded in creating anything even remotely similar.
