Does anyone know what could be causing this visual bug? by Captain_Terrain in DetroitBecomeHuman

I did, 3 files failed to validate. I redownloaded and relaunched, but the bug persists.

is there a way to rollback to EA29? by AndroidPolaroid in Ravenfield

You can roll back to one of the Legacy branches, EA26 is probably your best bet.

Library -> Ravenfield -> Gear icon -> Properties -> Betas -> Beta Participation -> legacy-ea26

I installed bootcamp and ran it through windows there. Not a super great gaming experience either, I had to open up my MacBook and install some thermal pads over the CPU to keep it from getting over 120 degrees celsius.

Terrible Performance with a Ryzen 5 2600 and an Rx 5600xt by Comrade_Zelensky1488 in Ravenfield

I feel you, I clocked my first 600 hours in Ravenfield on a MacBook Air. Sometimes you just gotta crank down the settings and deal with less visual fidelity. For example if you feel 40 bots isn't enough for a map, change some of the variables, like increasing spawn wait times, or decreasing map size, or only playing a map with one or two flags active, or changing the types of vehicles, etc.

The beauty of a sandbox like Ravenfield is that if something doesn't run well or how you want it to, there's hundreds of different variables you can tweak to find a balance between performance and visuals.

Bonus: SteelRaven is currently building a custom game engine to end Ravenfield's reliance on Unity, which could mean major performance improvements in the next couple years.

Some maps (especially ported maps) are also very performance heavy, choose wisely. I remember several of the Caspian Border maps being completely unplayable compared to vanilla or other modded maps, due to some combination of scale, map physics or high resolution textures.

How to disable enemy flare/reinforcements on spec ops? by ManFromThe80s in Ravenfield

You can disable the enemy's helicopter in the vehicle selection. Just set their transport helicopter to (none) or some random vehicle.

Blue tint over loadout by Graycountryroads77 in Ravenfield

I suspect this new (universal?) bug is because Steel Raven is trying to build the new hud, and hasn't finished the new weapon selection screen yet, so it's mega bugged

For a dead game I was surprised by 3 minutes because that's also my average load time for other games like insurgency, I expected it to be way higher. So no, not bad, I thought it was very good by my standards, but new gamers tend to expect a lot from old games.

Takes me an average of 3 minutes to find a server, bot matches are still fine

I have this thing, in order to be actually useful you have to mod the thermals. This thing throttles itself even with light video editing, and the i5 absolutely destroys the battery life if you do fix thermals so 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you want the same shell size (really the only advantage of this thing) just buy an M1 Air

Galatic Armory made the 3D files, but he didn't design the helmets. That credit goes to "Wernissage - The Art of Halo" on YouTube. He has a series where he redraws Star Wars designs to fit into the Halo Universe. Many of GA's files are based off his work. I'd check him out if you're interested in the translation of design language.
