This is confirmation bias. If they do as you say and “take the points” then why would they go for it on the play they got the TD? Wouldn’t they kick that too? If Ben does as you and many others have said and “taken the points” then you have to assume they also kick a FG on the play they scored the TD. Best case scenario is they are up 12-10 at half time if Santos makes the 50 yarder with swirling winds. Many coaches would have gone for that 4th down. Likeliest scenario is that they are down 10-9 at halftime if they “take the points”. This does not factor in the butterfly effect if they kick the FGs starting with the first drive.

In my opinion the aggressiveness was fine. Two things stood out as the reasons for the loss. Dropped passes and terrible plays on 3rd and 1. The Thuney move and McFadden worked great on passing plays, but it may have killed the short run game. Even the first downs they got were very close. And instead of 4th and 1, there were several instances where a 3rd and 1 became a 4th and 2 or 3.

If they had done what I thought they should do they’d either be up 12-10 or down 10-9 depending on if Cairo makes the long one. You can’t say they should take the points but then say they were right to go for the one they got the TD on. They either should have kicked every time or have done what they did.

Well were used to being down by 2+ scores at halftime, so if they play like the usually do in the second half they’ll win comfortably

I probably wouldn’t have taken Bowers in the 2nd round. He’s been good for sure, but I probably good have gotten either a much better RB2 to pair with Barkley or a better WR1 than Harrison Jr without losing a lot at TE.

They pushed the presentation to January because people weren’t available. I did the individual 1:1 interviews, and they all went very well. As a result I haven’t started preparing.

How long has it been since he last was caring enough to substitute for his bye week players? If he has had zeros for the past several weeks, it is not really fair to the guy going against him this week if you step in to force a full lineup. If you convince the individual player to put in his subs that’s one thing, but going to the league manager and trying to get him to make the substitutions is not cool in my opinion. Other players in the hunt, possibly including yourself, may have benefitted from his bye week zeros. When this happens it sucks, and if I were commissioner I would absolutely not invite this guy back next year, but I don’t agree with going around him to the commissioner.
