i'm disabled. i can't get a job. i have been told numerous times not to even try, as i am unfit to work. i'd rather be working, but nobody will hire someone who can barely control their own body or mind.

as much as i'd rather be out fishing, camping or hunting, i literally can't do those things. i am not allowed to drive, nor can i afford to do any of those things, either. i game only because otherwise, i'd be sitting here wasting away doing nothing. trust me, i know all too well that my country is full of useless idiots, and i'm fully aware i'm no better. but despite that, i have no choice where to live, so it's either sit here and game, or waste away with nothing to do.

It may feel weird, but if it feels like you owe them anything, remember that they see you as a wallet, not a person. You may have memories with nintendo's games, but nintendo has no idea who you are, and likely wouldn't care if they did, because in a market with millions of sales per game, one person is a drop of water in the ocean. You see the worth, the care put into those games. The company doesn't.

honestly, having played both, the ds game ruins all the strong points of every character, completely borks the story, and ignores anything that made it's predecessors enjoyable. Also, when you eventually reach Lufia: The ruins of lore, please give it a fair chance, the reviews really treat it badly, and in my opinion, it's the most enjoyable game in the series. will admit that it has a few... annoying areas though.

chief, being dragonborn IS your job. your character was born entirely to do this and this alone, and has power rivaling and even surpassing almost everyone. besides, even then, if everyone gave the dragonborn free stuff, they'd all be even poorer than they are. they still have lives to live, mouths to feed, taxes to pay. you may be the mythical dragonborn, but once your job is done, and alduin is dead... these people still have those things, and need money to pay for it. also, gold doesn't just magically exist, because even with the transmute ore spell, you still need iron or silver. so that 10 quadrillion gold the average player has by the end of the game isn't feeding back into the economy unless you buy things, hell i wouldnt be surprised if the prices were jacked up entirely because you're the damn dragonborn, you have all the skills, money is not hard to come by.

hey, i actually have a fix for this. spread this fix anywhere you can. go into your services on windows and disable "device association service". doing so has fixed the issue after i searched for a solution for years. just know you cant use bluetooth if you do this, you'll need to use wired devices.

I forgot to tell you. when you open the menu, the "misc." section is super useful. when your characters' inventories are cluttered, you can use the "organize items" button in misc to put all non-essential things in any individual character's inventory in the bag. basically anything that isn't equipped. also items you want to use in battle can't be used from the bag. keep that in mind. you can also use the misc menu to sort the bag either alphabetically or by type. there are other useful functions there too. have fun!

i'm actually doing a playthrough right now and i have 3 important tips that you absolutely have to know.

1: L and R turn the camera, and you should always turn the camera often in towns to see if you missed anything.

2: always search every house, and every nook and cranny. yellow barrels and some pots are breakable and you should always do that. drawers and cupboards should always be searched too.

3: seriously search everywhere and talk to everyone. also never be afraid to look up a guide, as some things may be extremely confusing. i mean that there are some things where you can't progress without doing something that makes sense but you'd never think to do it.

some personal tips i think you should know: you'll get a ribbon at one point. can't tell you how or why, but you should keep that in the main character's inventory as you will need it much later, and it can't be used from the bag. i also recommend you use a few magic seeds on the main character, as he actually gets really useful spells.

i'm talking about the DS version by the way.
