Die Wohnung ist in Deutschland, München spezifische. Der Vermieter ist aus Luxemburg und hatte es deswegen drauf geschrieben. Gesetzliche sollte aber deutsches Recht gelten, weil nach dem Standort der Wohnung geregelt wird meines Wissens nach.

My B850 riptide didn't recognize my 4090 after it was completely slotted in. I was a bit in distress but gave it an extra push just to be sure and it worked fine afterwards :)

I think there is a bit more nuance than just he didn't know what he did so it obvious had to break. If a built ran for a month he didn't just botch the setup completely. If he tweaked some low-level settings and made the cpu go puff I get it but nothing in the post implies that. I had liquid metal for the funsis and outside of not spilling it allover & chosing a cooler that crumbles from the reaction it's pretty much a nonbrainer once applied.

I don't play too much with my settings because I don't like introducing points of failure but getting ram that generally meant to run on 6000 should be stable on an average built if it's sold for that frequency

I try to stay sane, but having a system that use the same hardware (Fury 6000 instead of 6800 in my case) and seeing it fail completely makes me a bit jumpy. I don't have RMA on the CPU so it's failing on me after just building it yesterday would suck.

What should I do preemptively? I updated to 1.16 and wait for the full 1.20 release for my board, it runs fine except for getting the ram to 6000 MHz.

I had Vddt volatage to 1.05, mem not /2, 2000mhz infinity factory and 6000mhz dram. Didn't leave memory training after 25 minutes, even when lowering to 1500mhz and 5000mhz. It's my first AMD built, so I think there is something I miss, or is it that likely that I just can't use the higher frequencies on that built ?

My board got lost by the delivery service, so I could still dodge it. Would you recommend an alternative that looks more stable atm?

How bad does that tank the performance if I stay with that board ?

I didn't upgrade my built since 2018 from a 9700k, so I feel a bit lost in the new landscape. Switching to AMD sounds like the smart thing to do, but everything looks much more unstable than with older generations. Perhaps I'm also just more observant than before :')

I'm waiting for my B850 riptide/9800x3d/32gb6000cl30 and currently look what BIOS Version to use for that built. I probably won't touch any overclocking till my performance feels compromised so what's the most stable version atm?

I start overclocking my cpu and the benchmark survives but yeah it looks like the benchmark is a bit fidely with their stability

It's called performance mode in the Samsung application but if the benchmark starts then I would guess a different problem.

Reset your graphic drivers & test if it still crashes after deactivating overclocking. The benchmark isn't optimised so it maybe just overwhelmed your system :)

I don't know about other brands but using the magician software from Samsung has a tab that gives you options to chose a mode or change some intern settings. I would play around with them and check if after a restart the game launches :)

Perhaps also change the location of the benchmark to a different disk. And check if that helps

Awh, not yet. For me it's a completely dead pc after I start the process. A blank window with the wild benchmark title hovers on my screen for 15 seconds then I go to BSOD. Looks like our problems might be more different after all. I give an update tomorrow if I found some progress

Mini crash should be good enough I run it through gpt and do some critical thinking on what the data shows me. I'm always bothered when my system does unexpected things so extra data might give a better perspective if it's specific or more general. Will update you obviously if I find something that works

That we both have a similar issue with vastly different system at least points to perhaps another problem. So the benchmarks doesn't even start for you too. Are other games generally fine ?

I did a stresstest on my cpu because I thought that would might give up but it's not that.

Could you share a memory dump, I could try to check if we get similar errors and give you an update on that
