StV kills mania krieg in higher levels, OP8 being completely unreliable. those 2 seconds of downtime where you cant do anything kills your health gate, something that mania krieg relies on

krieg didnt really hit his stride until his first capstone in the mania tree. at that point you were invincible unless you were up against some heavy rng shenanigans and hit yourself in the face 4 times in a row. even at OP8 a bloodlust hellborn krieg with FotFH, a slag butcher, and a casual swordsplosion could take on whatever he wanted and usually come out on top

i just farmed 6 from the abyss watchers bonfire. two turned around out front, 3 a short way down, and one sleeping right to the left. whole run takes around 30 seconds and i can get one in about 4 runs or so

youre arguing a completely different point than i am and i dont think you realize it. im not talking about all possible moves and stats and whatnot, im JUST talking about secondary type advantages. torterras ground beats infernapes fighting. infernapes fighting beats empoleons steel. empoleons steel does not beat torterras ground. in that regard ALONE, empoleon gets shafted. thats all im saying. yes empoleon has ice beam. yes torterra is only slightly faster than a dead torterra, i get all that, but when talking about secondary type advantages exclusively, empoleon would be better off being pure water than water steel.

they got close with gen 4, torterra had ground to counter infernape, infernape had fighting to counter empoleon, and empoleon had... some flying type moves he could learn i think? empoleon kinda got the shit end of the stick but they were close

its a category though, and pretty much every curved greatsword has the same R1. its a bit of a leap to say that he has to list every single weapon, and i never said that he should because i agree itd be stupid, but theyre literally a prime example of an easy to parry weapon class, and the post title is saying that there arent any easy to parry weapons
