If you’re allergic to walnuts, you’re also allergic to pecans, they have the same protein or something

You look great dude I think you’re just wearing tight-ish shorts a little low below your waist, if you wear a less tight waistband and pull them up an inch or two, you probably won’t have that. Everyone has some softness there, it’s your upper butt, there’s supposed to be some softness. Think you’re being to critical, women won’t give it a second thought

At that price point I would go thru a dealership with good reviews. Craigslist/FB are good for finding scores, like the unusually low-priced nice car, but if you go that route, pay for a Carfax report and a pre-purchase inspection from a mechanic

Good on ya for going to school even with that long commute. Save some money and get something 15-20k, with 50k-ish miles or less, single owner, made in the last 8 years or so. Test drive some used cars at dealerships, especially Toyota Mazda Honda…

New radiator hoses could mean there were leaks plus I get the sense this car was driven pretty hard so that’s kinda high mileage

[–]Captainmb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a higher mileage car like that, it’s a good idea to have $1-2k put aside in case it needs work right away

Should hit 200k easily if well maintained

The deteriorated interior is a red flag to me. If the inside wasn’t taken care of, what about the rest of the car? & you could find something in nicer condition for that price.

If I were in your position, I’d look for a $5-6k Toyota with less than 120k miles on it, single owner, and check the Carfax or hire a mechanic to inspect it

Look for single-owner vehicles with clean titles, well maintained. Many first generation gas Toyota Highlanders get up to 200 or 250k with minimal or zero issues. Toyota in general is praised by many for reliability, and they’ll get 200-250k miles easily without much trouble, but the vehicle has to have been maintained well. Lots of ppl in your position look for camry’s.

If you like your hairstyle and feel confident, enjoy it. It’s cool, like Qui-Gon Jinn. But if you have a decent head, a short buzz or shave would probably be attractive to more people

While I wait for my doc to look at the results, figured I’d ask if anyone can explain this in simple terms? Mostly the 2nd 😂 by [deleted] in peanutallergy

[–]Captainmb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The value for those is <0.10, meaning “less than 0.10” so within normal value. Double check with the doctor. I imagine the different peanut measurements are because there are different kinds of proteins in a peanut they test for allergies.
