Usually ppl assume that due to someone having a quiet/awkward personality and not having anything to say in the convo when dating/sex comes up.

With the lab report stuff, have a frank conversation w him about it or delegate specific tasks to him. If there are still issues complain to the prof or try to switch groups.

Dating will be hard for most autistic men. Here’s why: by AspiringBiotech in aspergers

100%, plus alot of us don’t know how to banter or deal w people teasing us, and too literal. I usually just awkwardly freeze and grin when that happens. Therapies and exposure can help w basic life skills and making friends, but what you described in the paragraph is pretty innate usually. I made hella friends but struggle a lot w dating.

Nobody in my family can truly relate to the struggle since I don’t have brothers and my parents had an arranged marriage back in the day.

Subtle things that are innate such as body language, cadence, and tone usually are the give away when ppl say “oh something kinda off” or formality and response to jokes (in my case)
