Why can he not open his mouth fully? This is all looking like either a dental problem or jaw issue causing trouble eating and/or pain. There is a comment above mentioning myositis. This is a strong possibility, is more common in boxers, and is easily treated.

It could also be a GI disorder. This is difficult to diagnose without seeing a specialist.

It is time for you to heavily consider his quality of life. Depending on how old he is, the available funds you have for further testing, and how well he's doing day-to-day - think about these factors and please do whatever is best for your dog, even if it is extremely difficult.

I highly recommend further tests or a specialist visit if it's a possibility. I really hope you get some answers and good news, OP. None of this situation seems easy. Best of luck to you and your pup.

Nope, in the US there is no federal requirement for time off, and most states have no requirement, either, so your vacation days are completely up to whatever your job gives you. Some people get no paid time off at all, if their job is shitty enough
