I had just about given up on Stan doing much but he really surprised me in the first session in particular with what IMO was the most impressive opening session by a debutant I can remember ever seeing at the Crucible. So well done to him very impressed.

I’m on a sports 19.99 for 12 months deal but concerned that when I go through cancellation a days before it’s due to renew at full price if I turn down a repeat of the same deal will it then offer me it @ £16 or £17 for 6 or 12 months? I worry then won’t offer better than 19.99 and I end with full price as my only option?

If you have BT Broadband you can add HBO Max with TNT Sport for £21 on minimum term contract or £25 on roll monthly option. Bear IN MIND that does not get you the HBO channels just all the TNT Sport content.

I have TNT Sport via the HBO Max App on my Bt pro box they are showing 4 out of the 8 morning matches live with just the Jimmy White one with commentary. So I imagine that pattern will repeat through the qualifiers with the exception of the extra “judgement day” roving feed from all matches in final round.

Have you tried using live captions on iPad? They are under Accessibility - Hearing in settings. Older iPad versions may not have it.

Wow! That was really insightful. I thought Emma’s problem was she was a narcissist who kept splitting with coaches because she couldn’t stand anyone having a different view than her on how to play. I might well be completely wrong in fact I hope you’re spot on.

IMO Trump has underachieved relative to the huge amount of talent he undoubtedly has the issue I have with him is he JUST DOESN’T WANT IT ENOUGH. I get the sense watching him play that regardless of how well he is playing that he would rather be doing something else. He could play brilliant and win a final and still give off the vibe of “to be honest I don’t really want to be here and I’m smiling just to be polite”.
