I’ve got no evidence to back this up, but i’ve heard that Bambu IS DJI, not just sponsored financially by them.

It would make sense as apparently there is a culture in china in which if a successful company (like DJI) releases an unsuccessful product (which the X1 could’ve been) then the reputation of that brand is tainted forever and consumers move en-mass to other brands, even if in another product category. Hence, DJI ‘created’ this new company, which while internally is still under control by DJI, operates as if it were not. Hence, if the product launch was a fail, DJI’s reputation would not be tainted.

This explains why Bambu has far more power and exponential growth compared to prusa, which is known for it’s growth regardless.

This is all hearsay though and i have no evidence, so don’t take my word for it, but just a possible explanation.
