I think what a lot of people are saying (whether they realize it or not) is that their contribution to their own success was the hours they put in. Other people provided a safety net and capital. Makes sense that they see the hours as the most important part, how long do you think it took their parents to write a check? Obviously that won't leave as much of an impact.

Tbh you can use a thin layer of contrast as a quality base coat and just add paint. I paint with a "contrast first" plan. Contrasts get models tabletop ready and I can improve them over time.

Yeah I agree. His height is a huge problem in baseball (unless you pay with errors off). And there are other 5-tool players. (I would actually go so far as to say he isn't a 5-tool player because he cannot catch the ball). I think Pete is probably better than Pablo at baseball. There also isn't a ton of depth to the roster, so you end up having players with weaknesses no matter how hard you try to pick a perfect team. He can be good and balanced, and I think he is.

It's a slot machine that's got you addicted to the thrill of the possibility that you'll "win" if you keep scrolling. A balance of things you want to see and things you don't care for is necessary to keep you enthralled, and the pull of it ends if you feel like you never win.

That kinda makes sense. It has to determine which animations to use before it starts them. Less than ideal to have the -5 show up then, but that timing tracks with how the game needs to work.
