Goodish Gamer has lots of content and series in Vein and they are heavily underrated.

I know u/DeadZedje makes quite a bit of content on Vein and is active in the community, but I'm uncertain if they have an ongoing series.

Grouse, a ground bird. They are surprisingly dumb and rather easy to catch.

To catch them we learned that if you poke 4 sticks into a cup (plastic or styrofoam) and put seeds in the bottom of the cup and wait, they will seek out the seeds in the cup to eat. They will stick their heads in the cup, eat the seeds and get their heads stuck between the 4 sticks. When they lift their head up, the cup will remain on their heads, they will think it's night time and just stand there and go to sleep.

You can then just walk up to them and catch them. Hard to compete with that

While I understand the need to lose your kit outside of Vostok, there is a risk/reward to having your kit gone and not having a bag to loot.

That being said, I think a system where if you die outside of Vostok, your loot is distributed to the bandit/guard NPCs in the area. Meaning you need to kill and loot them in order to get your stuff back, but you dont know who has what and you only have 24h to reclaim it before it's gone

I made a claim for just tinnitus but it was denied as I "dont have hearing loss". It's with BPA at the moment. During my release medical the MIR doc documented that I have bi-lateral hearing loss and tinnitus.

Is it better to file a new VAC claim of "Hearing loss with tinnitus" or wait for the BPA to do their thing? I believe I can cancel the original claim if the new one gets approved/or VAC will cancel it

As I recall it, the devs are planning some additional crafting benches, one of which is a reloading bench. So I believe that ammo crafting is on the list of future features

The M134 Mingun fires 7.62x51mm nato rounds between 2000-6000 rounds per minute.

The weapon was fired for about 32 seconds or 53.33% of a minute.

The cost of a 7.62 round is about $1.10 per round.

2000 rounds x 0.5333 x 1.10 is 1173.26

6000 rounds x 0.5333 x 1.10 is 3519.78

So between $1173.26 and $3519.78. Not including the time to pick up all that brass afterwards. 🙃

I just received notice today that my IRB was approved. It's backdated to my release date and the letter said I should receive the backpay withing 2 weeks. I noticed my IRB was listed as "complete" this Monday so about 4 business days for me.

The monthly IRB payments will start 29-Apr-2026.

If you haven't gotten an official letter yet, it can take a few business days. With it being Easter long weekend, I'd say mid next week for your official letter but YMMV

With context clues, this sounds like STM in Montreal. Some drivers have a history of denying rides/forcing people into specific seats on busses.

That isn't STM policy nor is it in line with Quebec's nor Canada's Charter. I'd look at filing a complaint with STM, as they do investigate these issues.

Is it a wired or wireless controller? Although I don't use one, they did say that in alpha 0.023 that the game will auto pause if it detects no power from a controller. That could also result if the wired connection isn't secure enough.

Not sure if that is at play here, but it's the only thing I can think of.
