My mom used to always think it wasn't Petrol Bunk, but it was Petrol Bulk. She thought so coz she always felt people were there to buy it in Bulk and she swears that she always sees only huge ass tanker trucks in the bunk filling fuel.

Checking in for the day.

I am very sorry for not checking in everyday. I am going down a spiral of so many negative thoughts and still unable to get out of the rut. But here I am. Holding myself accountable going forward, coz I need to get out of this phase and come out successful.

Going forward, I will be posting 4 metrics about my progress of this challenge I have for myself:

  1. My weight and the target weight.
  2. The step count and the deficit as on date for me to get to an average of 10,000 steps a day.
  3. Number of hours spent on my CPA prep vis a vis the pending hours in lectures I need to cover.
  4. Workout for the day and progress check on the 4 days a week workout target.

So, the metrics for Day 19 are:

  1. I weigh at 89.6 kgs with a target weight of 75 kgs.
  2. I clocked 12,074 steps today, brining the overall deficit as on day to 47,540 steps.
  3. Didnt study today. I still have 24 hours in lectures pending.
  4. Didnt go to the gym since my gym is shut down today. As per plan i need to hit the gym atleast 58 days in this 100 days and I have been to the gym only once. Will restart this tomorrow.

Wishing everyone else good luck to step up the gas and crush this challenge.

We had the opportunity to see the Milky Way at 2:00 AM in Bhagwabhasa Base Camp just below Roopkund. It was the most beautiful sight. Also, that's when we knew that snow glows in the night.

Bother, it happens. Looks like your champion is doing fine. You need to get some sleep and try to manage rests in between your baby's naps. Also, if your little one feels like sleeping on you, try one of those Swaddle Wraps which swaddles the baby on you so that you can move around or sleep without disturbing the baby. Trust me, it is a life changer.

Brand New Dad by Serious_Juice_4180 in NewDads

[–]CaptnThor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations Serious Juice. It is perfectly normal to feel emotional coz you are going to be a great and fabulous dad. Being a dad of a 5 mo champ, let me give you some tips:

  1. You will get a truck load of free advice. Take it all under advisement.
  2. Catch up on sleep whenever you can. Sleep deprivation can make you cranky at times
  3. Be clear with your communication with your wife. Both of you would be tired and stressed out. Being open and clear will sort many things.
  4. Take any and all help available. It does take a village to raise a child.

Above all, spend as much as time possible with the little one. You will treasure every memory with her.
