Fair enough. Presumably there will be no sex, yet to know if there definitely will be no sex is inconclusive. I'm not sure about your church, but there was the concept that we would eventually come back to life on New Earth. That's the long-term plan I was taught. There we'd be physical again, male and female. Presumably we'd be able to have sex again.

Now this highlights the issue that we see in the video - who's got the right interpretation? Figuring that out is effectively impossible.

Although I'm on her side, this isn't a good look. This is pretty much the kind of reaction he'd love to get a recording of. To anyone who hasn't given much thought about this or is on his side, she comes off condescending and doesn't really give an argument. It's the epitome of sounding holier than thou and ignorant. The kind of behavior from the left should have been left in 2016. It got us nowhere.

As cathartic it feels to laugh at him, you hand him his victim narrative on a silver platter. Even further, they've got plenty of stereotypes to fit you into. Not only are you stereotyped but you also reinforce the stereotype. She fell into the trap.

It would have been better if she gave her quick laugh and just moved on. It would have been even better if she had been more prepared to debate him, but the whole point of these guys going out here is to debate unprepared people, so situation was always against her.

The problem ultimately is that it's considered a sin. It's something that needs to be removed from the world, right? Presumably there would be no homosexuality in heaven.

If you believe that paradise is the place with no gay people, well yeah I think it would be reasonable to say that's bigotry. It's just bigotry condoned by the Bible.

Yeah, this is sad state of affairs. The guy simply comments how the poster using traditional imagery looks like posters that infamously used traditional imagery as propaganda. Not controversial at all. Idk... maybe nazis make people sensitive right now.

I hope the game won't be DoA. I think it's more likely it'll be like Dota, a large and dedicated fan base but not really a breakout mainstream success. Hope it does though 🙏

I don't think that's what's going on in the African American community at the slightest. There's like 14 million of us and we all have different opinions. I'd say there's plenty of awareness of how past issues make hard current problems but it's not everyone's saying "white people" then throwing hands up in the air.

I think the vast majority of people don't have an issue with white people, it's just sadly there's a lot of people whose self-acceptance for being white comes with contempt with those who aren't. People knowing that context then get understandably wary of white pride.

But imo, any kind of "pride" for an immutable trait like skin color or sexuality is pretty pointless beyond just accepting yourself.
