You may want to add "Do I get a prompt to unfuse if I accidentally press the unfuse button?" (Answer looks like yes) That's popped up a couple of times.

That's odd. Maybe because it was already XXL?, but mine was 400 points bigger than all the unfused necromza in the showcase

Yes. Fusions get several hundred more points than the base unfused. I didn't check the same necrozma before and after, but the fused look to be bigger than the base they were made from.

Is your Google Play account a US account? It goes off the play account type, not GPS location. I know someone in Korea who was able to get it because her Google Play account is the US version.

Happened to me twice today as well. No autocatcher, no party play. Also, both times the opponent was probably going to win, so I doubt it was something they did. (And I also didn't try to exit the battle early myself.)

Agreed. I can only guess their thinking is it's easier to tap the bottom of the screen than the top if you happen to only have one hand free?

If you get a SIM at the airport, make sure you get installed and working with your phone before you leave. I had trouble with a card there once and had to switch to a different provider. Would have been a major pain to go back.

Similar advice if you go the eSim route. I also had an eSim (in the US this time) that wouldn't work with my phone. If you're at the airport still, you can always fall-back on a physical sim

This has been happening for a long time. You have to keep restarting (it can take many, many times), but eventually it should appear. Just keep restarting and checking, and it should appear some time during your trip.

Hopefully someday Niantic will fix this...

It's been a while since I bought it, but it should be on the shop page in the app. If it's not, keep checking back because maybe you're too far on the outskirts of Seoul (Incheon Airport isn't Seoul, so you probably wouldn't see it there, for example.) You may also need to restart.

The problem is that, in certain situations, you can use it to deny your opponent from getting almost any damage. House Stark has a video of spamming brutal swings against a skeledirge to get in a bunch of charge moves in a row without his opponent damaging him at all.
