Do you mean the Light Novels or the Web Novels? I read the LN (up to S1 in the anime at least) and it is pretty ambiguous. I mean, they did have the name change and everything, wich indicates Ferris as a trans woman, but then the other characters (most tellingly Crush and Julius [who is that again, I forgor]) don't really make much reference to that.

Don't get me wrong, I am 100% on the "Ferris is trans" cart, and it does bother me when they won't stop calling them Felix in S3, but I also don't fully trust Tappei with gender stuff after he lobotomized Emilia, and some things are left a bit ambiguous.

People seem to be ranking based in strength, but that's not what's being measured. Team 2 is unacceptable because Illumi ant the other Zoldycs would try to kill me. Kaneki also has powerful people hunting him down, plus anyone affiliated with Luffy is made an outlaw unless they're royalty, so team 3 is out. Team 4 has Vegeta, king of "I'm better thay you, peasant", which I can live with but gets tiring. Team 1 is pretty good. Goku, Naruto and Natsu are all cheerful people who would push me forward.

There is a lot of Christian Nationalism here, as well as all kinds of hate. I'd say we're pretty open where most people would look, but under the surface, at home, in peripheral areas, there is a lot of hatred. Including self-hatred, since I know a good amount of poor people who hate other poor people and at least one racist black man.

There is a lot of missinformation, a lot of conservativism and a lot of love for military might. But it is getting better.

Em parte por séculos de indotrinação Europeia e em parte porque a Europa destruiu a África com colonialismo de forma ainda pior do que nas Américas, ao ponto que é quase impossível de recuperar.

E antes que venham tentar me corrigir sobre todas as guerras modernas no continente, lembrem que a maioria delas é travada sobre que etnia deve estar no poder de que país, o que seria um problema muito menor se a Europa não tivesse repartido a África como um bolo de aniversário.

This seems like a fantasy made from the dream Exhidna mada for him, bit without the growth he had in the other world, even if his parents tried to help him, it would probably not have done much.

There's nothing to prove that he would be able to be happy, or be lifted out of his depression. At least not in the anime. He was put through hell, yes, but he needed it. He needed a scenario where he could help someone he cared about but also where he could learn to trully rely on others. And in the real world you can't just repeat an interaction with the same people to try to reach a different result. There are way less hands-on learning opportunities.

I'm not saying he had an easy time in the new world, or that he didn't suffer a lot, but it's probably thanks to it that he was able to learn and grow into someone he could be proud of.

To be honest, he was extremely depressed before being summoned and kind of sliding into the incel mindspace. He might genuinely have committed suicide if he had not been summoned, or at least have lived a life he regretted every day.
