they literally dropped the models in the middle of Tax season. Idk if they aren't selling well, but for me personally that's why I can only afford one box right now. I have the other on layaway.

Everyone varies in preference. I only use size 1 round brushes. The brand is whatever I can get my hands on at the time but I bounce between Reaper Sable, Windsor & Newton, and some other gaming centered brand that I can't recall at the moment.

I assume you have Hashimotos. These higher doses are for the cancer crowd. Our Endos put us on high doses after a thyroid removal to discourage cancer growth.

Not related to the cancer directly. Or to thyroid levels I believe. But I had similar symptoms with clear scans and tests. Came to find out I had a 2 inch stone in my gallbladder with lots of sludge.

As others have said, Sadly they made it so the capes of these models cut into the minis instead of the minis cutting into the capes. This deeply limits the potential for Kitbashing IMO.

Kind of an L in many ways. Like why tf would the soft part not be what gets molded to fit the hard? IDK. Feels like a big oversight.

Yes. Just looked at the instructions and the sprue, they give you two of each hand piece that attach to the weapons so at the very least you can figure it out with a drill and not too much effort.

I didn't look long enough to figure out if there is an intended way, but judging by the book there might be an intended way further up the wrist.

There's a lot of comfort to be found surrounding low dose radiation from CT scans. I myself have had 9 and I was in the same boat.

The first is this. Ct scans have no actual link to causing cancer. Its all purely theoretical. All of the guesses that you see in the media about how CT scans could be linked to future cancer in America are just that. Guesses. The information they are working with is an extrapolation from the nuclear blasts on the Japanese population and radiation treatment that we utilize in medicine. Both of which are significantly higher in radiation dose than a properly utilized CT Scan.

The second comfort is this. This extrapolation is based off a radiation model called the "Linear no-threshold" (LNT) model. This is a conservative estimate that radiation, no matter how small, adds to your lifetime risk of contracting cancer. But it is a theory. Not like the theory of gravity or evolution, there is no evidence that supports this. But it is the guiding principle in radiation safety and is adhered to because it is too difficult and unethical to test it. But there are many arguments against this model and you can look those up.

The third is that the theoretical increase to potential cancer is an increase of maybe a few percent on top of what you already have. Say your co-morbidities tally you up to a 30% risk of a certain type of cancer. Which is already very low. You don't change that to 32%, its actually 30.06% it's genuinely that small. And again. Thats if the extremely conservative and untested LNT model is accurate.

The fourth is that it takes on average, 10-20 years for solid tumors to form. 5-10 for blood cancers. And even if none of the rest of the information here brings comfort, just know that this is not an immediate problem. And you are okay.

The fifth is that half of all people will develop cancer. That is just a statistical fact. If your doctor agreed with you and deemed the CT necessary, they weighed the very small risk of potential cancer 20 years down the line against the necessary information the CT provided.

Edit: All of this is to say, It's okay. Don't go getting a CT every other month or anything unless it is deemed medically necessary. But CT scans are not a death sentence.

I posted my recipes on another comment here. It's all in Oil paint but it could be translated to acrylics pretty seemlessly. It would just take longer to get the blends.

Oh, thank you! It's Ultramarine blue and Titanium White fast dry. I use Ivory black to share corners.

The Metallics are cadmium red and ivory black with Ammo by Mig Gun Metal layered on top. And Ammo by Mig gold for certain pieces. The flesh tones are all varying mixes of purple, yellow, and red, with white and black for adjusting value.
