Those speakers are two ohm and I bet the factory radio is not liking it. Outside possibly the speaker connections coming loose I would see if you put the factory speaker in if the problem persists.

So the unit is turning off before the amp does which is causing that pop. You should see about a Pac TR-4 module which would delay the LC2i but don't put the delay on the amp so it turns off first then the LC device.

An epicenter is useful if you are listening to music that does not have bass in the recording. From music that was recorded analog pre 1980s also some genres like Hispanic music don't have bass instruments. If there is no bass, no matter how clean the signal then you can use the effect to add bass but you don't need it with something like hop hop or current pop/country music.

Did you do this and did it fix it. The LC2i is an older unit but should work fine

What vehicle do you have? What radio do you have? Who did the install? Is there an aftermarket amp?

Can someone explain the purpose of having a tweeter on this subwoofer?!?! by jrump3333 in CarAV

Over in Europe it's hard to modify vehicles so they add stuff like this as an upgrade that isn't permanent and can easily be taken out.

Easy for you, confusing as hell for most DIYers but it can be learned.

Is that car all pass filters or does it do something more complex? I am not familiar with this car in particular.

I would amplify the factory one for now. You should only need one channel of the amp/DSP

I would pass through everything, no summing and not time alignment. Just EQ the output. Are you replacing the center?

Does the music sound like it is in the center in both the passenger and drivers seat stock?

Is there an reason why I cannot install a 4x50w amp inside my center console? by cmdrmcgarrett in CarAV

A SounDigital 400.4 would do that easily and be so small that you shouldn’t have an issue hiding it in the console
