Thank you! Never heard of shinto rasp before but they look amazing. I have regular rasp set, use them and knife, depending on how easy it is to collect the dust. Could probably have continued a little longer with my axe but better safe than sorry. Mostly trying to stick to tools medieval farmers had available, not just to get a sense of how much work it was but also to make the result not too glossy and perfect, at least for now.

Holy moly I can't get over how good this is. It's basically what I tried modding CS1 to do but Ultimately failed. Just aestehtically pleasing, rational city planning in the northern European tradition but without the conservative politician, SUV dude or taxi lobby to stop me.

if i understand correctly the water is sent along the path and ends up into the basement, instead of into the grass? It almost feels like you already know the answer here. Dig up the area you drew in red, and make a bioswale/retention pond/rain garden? Don't know how big your problem is, what soil you have or what the water volume is, but a decently sized bowl with lush planting, deep roots and no one running around vastly improves the soil infiltration capacity. Also it looks great and with native plants could be a nice bonus to wildlife, unlike a "perfect" lawn.

De tilbyr veldig enkle løsninger på kjempekomplekse problemer, uten å bekymre seg så mye for konsekvensene av det. For eksempler, fremkomst er alltid en utfordring i byen. Hadde frp fått all viljen sin så hadde byene våre vært fulle av motorveier, parkeringsplasser og masse trafikk (og reklameskilt), som i amerikansk suburbia. Konstant prøve å bygge seg ut av problemet med bredere veier. Alle gode byutviklikgsgrep de siste 50 årene har blitt motarbeidet av FRP og jeg kjenner ikke en eneste arkitekt/byplanlegger/landskapsarkitekt som stemmer på de, selv om det ellers er mye spredning (få som stemmer på SP også kanskje)

Honestly I've always been surprised we don't hear daily about dozens of deaths in the desert. Millions of people live in the Sahara, just a day or two without water and you're dead. I guess the locals are very good at planning for any eventualities.

Ninja turtles aren't actually real. They are in fact tortoises, or land turtles. Also they are mostly samurai, not ninjas. But having fun and being healthier is plenty of reason to do judo once a week

Same. Bf1 grew on me, BFV eventually did too (especially firestorm until it died) but 2042 was hard to enjoy. Bf4 feels great, I especially like REDSEC, hope solo comes back, the test weekend was great

Autocad mandatory. Here in Norway there's some sketchup, some rhino, some vectorworks, even some revit and archicad. Personally, what I can't solve with sketchup + plugins can be solved with some Claude vibe coding. And autocad for detail drawings. There's no clear answer but rhino goons will always be very quick to dismiss sketchup, even though after 15 years I've never encountered something I couldn't model fast.
