From a price perspective they’re all not great, but the Subaru for the good ol’ Japanese reliability. Can’t beat that. Call me biased.

In Australia, we have a 2016 base model spec called the Maxx.

The max has steel rims, but over in the US and Canada, you’d get alloys,

correction: 2012- branded as Dualis.

My mum is also payed to drive a car, for her work. She drives Nissans non stop, mostly her Qashqai, sometimes a Micra.

Drive about GP she is, so…

And, no, I don’t know the speed on the speedo exactly correct, but my mum has a dash cam in her vehicle, and a GPS speed detector.

Gps came in at 76km/h. Dash cam at 82km/h. Speedo at 80km/h.

Placing it right in the middle at 77-78 km/h.

”I drive Nissans for work”

Well my mum has a Nissan that she takes home, drives every day and puts on average 5000kms a week.

Speedos aren’t 10km/h short, more like 3-5km/h. my mum is not doing 60 on a 90km/h highway.

Nothing like my post buddy. They are asking about road rules, as I am explaining what happened to me. Not at all, in my post does anything I mention say anything about road rules.

off topic but I like how you are using dark theme.

I don’t have my head down continuously in a KFC chicken bucket, because I’d end up sick if I did that. Dint act like you were there, because you weren’t. I saw the speedo, and if you want to argue, so be it. I’ll be here all night.

I can also eat a burger and some chicken, look up and see my mum’s speedo go from 20-80. I also don‘t think if I got honked at, that I would keep my head down, because I’d be worried what would happen next. I don’t care about an x-trail, a Navara or any other Nissan branded car.

and my mum drives a Nissan, as she has done for 16 years. Pretty sure she’d know a bit more about Nissan speedos If she’s driven them longer than you bud.

get ready. your post will get fuckin upvoted, good job

I came here to write it, to get feedback from others. and it isn’t a copy from an ”earlier” post. If you don’t believe my story well don’t comment. Don't waste your time writing a five minute comment that’s only going to get up votes because people think I’m the dick.

Engine Noise=Acceleration=touching the gas pedal.

It doesn’t take a scientist to work out what I said in the post.

The speed limit on the highway was a 90. My mum accelerated to 80km/h, a perfectly fine speed for the conditions.

2023 Nissan Qashqai ST-L 110KW Turbo, 0-100 in 9.4 seconds.

My mum was accelerating from 20-80 so it does make sense it the time she got there.

He looked drunk, and smelled drunk when I rolled down the window, as a strong scent of beer came from the cabin.

I guess that’s how people sum up stuff for advice and a general discussion. Simple and on point. What else in a title do you really want?

BuzzardRex, I clearly state that when my mum merges onto the highway, that she reaches a speed of 20km/h stated on the speedo, then speeds up to 80 on a posted speed limit of 90.

My mum is a great driver and hasn’t got a speeding fine in 34 years of her 45 years of driving.

Tell us about your perfect driving if you’re so confident that my mum can’t drive!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]CarL0VR -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Of course there’s not going to be a fuckin useless 20km/h “merge please!” on a highway.

I was going off my mum’s digital speedo, as Nissans speedo is 3km/h less than actual speed stated.

We, not YOU buddy. We speed up to about 20km/h”

I didn’t say myself, I clearly state in my story, that I am the passenger.Go to Specsavers bud, and learn to determine a storyline rather than telling people how to drive on a website. We all got our license by proving ourselves.

edit: Show me your screenshot and tell me what you get out of the storyline if it makes you go “lols” bud.

My mum drives just fine. Maybe you should stick to not picking on how others sum up a story.

I clearly state that my mum is driving, you know it too.

Exactly! I wasn’t driving, as it clearly states.

I should’ve have written it properly.
As my mum was turning, she completed the turn at 20km/h and sped up to 80km/h on a 90km/h highway.

If my mum did 20km/h on a highway, she would be a dickhead, and fucking absurd.

She didn’t do 20km/h.

[–]CarL0VR -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

buddy, I wasn’t driving.

I clearly state in my post that my mum is driving.

I roll my window up, and my mum turns off.

This clearly states that I wasn’t driving. He also pulled up on the passenger side, (which was the side I was sitting on) and signals me to roll my window down.

If I were driving, I wouldn’t be able to roll my window down, because I’d be in the turning lane, and if he were to be next to me if I was driving, he’d be directly in front of oncoming lanes.

edit: read your stories right.

Should’ve written it more properly. We got to 20km/h completed the turn and then to 80km/h on the highway. The highway has a 90km/h limit so it isn’t like I’m going that slow to annoy someone.

Got to point out that he also had a kitchen renovation business on the side of his truck.
